“Yes that’s it right?”

“yes it is, but I didn’t realized I hummed it that often” I chuckled as I turn my head to see Spencer with the cutest little grin on her face like she had just figured out the meaning of life or something.

“You hum it all the time but I couldn’t figure out what it was; I’ve been trying for the longest time to.”

“Well now you know” I replied mirroring Spencer’s smile with my own

“Why that song though?”

“Umm…well do you know the words to the song?”

“No not really I just recognized the melody” I slowly turned my head back around facing forward again

“I could sing it for you if you promise not to laugh” I felt Spencer’s grip tight around me as she pressed her cheek to mine

“I would never think to do that baby”

“Ok…” I could feel my hands shaking from my nerves I don’t normal sing for anyone but myself but I want Spencer to hear it.

It was so quite after I had finished singing, I could hear my own heart beat drumming in my ears as I waited for Spencer to say something.  I started to get nervous as silence was still the only thing filling the room.

“I know I’m not that great of a singe…”

“That was beyond beautiful Ash” I let out the breath I was holding as Spencer’s words met my ears

As I went to speak Spencer cut me off again

“I’ve noticed you, I want to be that somebody for you babe you don’t need to look anymore. Let me help you please”

In that moment I knew what Spencer was telling me was the truth she was the person I’ve been looking for and I need her now more than ever. I’m going to make the leap and let her into my heart and soul, I have to tell her everything and I’m going to do it now.
