Mark: I do and thank you for including us. I want to apologize for acting as if our last meeting on this was a big hassle for me. I’m onboard and the three of us walked that path first thing this morning. Our crews are tying up a few loose ends now, but I think you’ll be happy with what you see.

Bette: Thank you Mark and I’ll look forward to our walk later. Let’s go through the slide presentation for meeting.

They roll through the slides and presentations. Everyone is active in the discussions and modifications are made. Bette is firm with the team about keeping to the schedule as she reminds them that is likely their only visit to the Whitney in making the decision how and if to move forward with the plan. Hector takes notes and makes most of the edits right on the screen during the meeting.

The physical plant tour is impressive and Bette is very pleased with the team’s efforts. There are three items they discovered and Charles will make sure they are all taken care of by 4pm and take Bette on the tour at the end of the day.

Mandy: Jim and Katherine are both on the line for your conference call.

Bette: Thanks. Do I get lunch after the call?

Mandy: If you say please.

Bette: Please and can you make it a salad? We had big heavy Sunday dinner with friends.

Mandy: I’m on it.

Bette: Jim and Katherine, thanks for taking my call today and agreeing to come to lunch on Wednesday.

Jim: I couldn’t be more thrilled to be apart of this from the start Bette. The board is on edge hoping we can pull this off.

Katherine: I feel honored as new board member that you’ve asked me to participate.

Bette: Well you both are valuable members of the board. I am hopeful that you can help me leave Disney with a sense that we are serious and that we are ready to begin this partnership. Jim, are there other partnerships that the museum has had that would remotely match this?

Jim: I think your recent deal with the King center is significant and marks the kind of things we are looking to do under your leadership.
