“I have a question.” Tina asks.

“Sure.” He replies.

“It’s been a year, and it looks like I’m all good to go. What about getting pregnant?” Tina asks and holds her breath for him to answer.

“You want to get pregnant?” He asks.

“Well, me and Bette were having a baby, when this all started. I was just wondering how long I will have to wait.” Tina replies.

He smiles.

“Well, I don’t see why you can start right away. I have to tell you though, even though your ovary seems healthy, it might not work to get you pregnant. But if that is the case, there’s other ways to get pregnant.” He replies.

“Oh okay. But you’re saying that I’m good to go.” Tina asks again, starting to smile a little.

“Yeah, I am.” He replies.

“Thank you.” Tina says and gives him a hug.

They walk out of the exam room and back to his office, where they find Bette deep in thought.

“Hey, babe, are you ready to go?” Tina asks standing by the door.

Bette stands up and walks over to her.

“I’ll call you later Tina with the results.” Dr. Mitchell says.

“Yes, thank you. Bye.” Tina says and leaves, grabbing Bette’s hand.

In the car on their way home.

“T, what did he say? What did the ultrasound say?” Bette asks worried.

“That it’s still gone. He’ll call later for the results of the blood tests.” Tina looks over and smiles.

“That’s good. Why didn’t you want me with you today?” Bette asks the real question she wanted to ask. Tina looks down on her hands in her lap.

“Tina, you are scaring me, is something wrong? If something is wrong, I need you to tell me.” Bette says in a very worried voice.

“Nothing is wrong Bette, you don’t have to worry.” Tina replies after a few moments.

Bette pulls into the driveway at home. They both get out and Tina walk around to Bette’s side. She reaches out her hand to help Bette out of the car.

“Come let’s get inside, I’ll tell you all about it.” Tina says. They get inside and Tina walk into the kitchen and put on a kettle with water. “Do you want coffee babe?” Tina asks.
