“Okay, I will.” Tina replies.
Tina bends down. “I’m gonna kiss you now, so don’t be scared.” Tina whispers.
“How could I ever be scared by you kissing me?” Bette whispers back.
Tina leans in and place a soft, loving and long kiss on Bette’s lips.
“I love you.” Tina says.
“I love you too.” Bette replies.
Dr. Sanchez and Dr. Garrison smiles.
“I’ll be back soon.” Tina says. “Is it okay if Julia, her daughter comes in?” Tina asks, looking at the doctors.
“Sure. But only one person.” They say.
“Okay, good. I’ll send Julia in babe. I’ll be back before you know it. Love you.” Tina says again and leans in and kiss her once more.
“Bye.” Bette says.
Tina leaves and walks out in the waiting room. Both Julia and Kit jumps up.
“What going on?” Kit asks.
Tina smiles.
“She woke up. She’s talking and is breathing by herself after they removed the respirator. But she can’t see. Her eyes are covered with bandages. They have to stay on for at least a week. After that we’ll know if she’s blind or not. And her head is covered with bandages. And off course her arm.” Tina says.
“Oh okay. But she’s okay, talking and all?” Julia asks, still tears in her eyes from earlier.
“She’s fine. They will move her to a room in a couple of hours. She wanted to see you.” Tina says, looking at Julia. “I’m gonna go home with Andrea. Bette wanted her home and safe. So… I’ll be back soon.” Tina says and gives Julia a hug, “She’ll be okey.” Tina says. And then she takes a sleeping Andrea from her arms.
“Which room?” Julia asks.
“Down the hallway and the last door on the left.” Tina says.
“Okay. Kit maybe you want to go in and say hi first?” Julia asks.
Kit looks from Julia to Tina. Tina smiles and nods.
“Go in Kit. She knows you’re here.” Tina says.
“Thank you. I’ll be quick.” Kit says and runs down the hallway.
“I’ll stay with you till she comes back.” Tina says.
“You don’t have to. Why don’t you go home, put her to bed. I bet she’s still scared.” Julia sats.
“Yeah. Are you sure?” Tina asks.

Glad you could borrow a PC Now we know Bette is getting better. How much more can these two endure> They have a lot of Drama,but seems to come back a wee bit stronger each time. thanks
I was so glad to see this post. Tell your friend thank you from a fan. Bette is too strong to give up now. She has her wife and her kids to live for. I hope that when the bandages come off that her eye sight will be fine. Waiting patiently
Lauren, how could you live without internet for that long! Gosh, it would have killed me without a day. lol.. glad that Bette can breath on her own now, please DON’T LET HER BLIND! Looking forward to your next post. :)

I am glad that Bette is doing better and hope that she WILL be GOOD as new. This family has been through soooo much physical drama. It would be nice to see the Porter family just be able to relax and deal with some of the regular drama of just raising their kids :o)
I wonder how Tina will tell the boys what’s going on?
u said it – lots of drama – unnecessary drama and torture for this family – one would think you dont like this family at all – coz everytime something good happens – a double big bad whammy soon follows – so now that bette has gotten kicked and trashed – who’s next – tina (again) – tis time what – she cant ‘walk’?

Glad to see Bette woke up. BUt please don’t let her be blind or something else. They have had enough drama in their live right now so please let the happy tmes finally come and stay!!
Hey Lauren – great to see some posts from you, you’ve been missed. But know that I’ll take the boat to Oslo and hunt you down, if you make Bette permanent blind or have other problems!!! I hope the moving is soon over and you can relax a little. Take care.
Please let Bette recover fully, and I mean fully. No blindness, please! I must say one thing though. This family sure has one hell of a guardian angel to watch over them…
