A crush, a meeting then love?? – Chapter 69
Chapter 69
A little later they arrived at the club. Bette helps Tina out of the car and into the chair.
Bette had the janitor install a wheelchair ramp by the employee entrance. So Tina starts towards the door, while Bette grabs the laptop and the camera. Tina made it inside and stopped in front of Bette’s office door. Bette follows closely and unlocks it.
They get in and Bette places the laptop on her desk. Tina wheels herself around the desk and stops behind the desk next to Bette’s chair. Bette takes a seat.
Tina logs on and opens the folder that contains the pictures she and Jessie took yesterday.
“So can I see the pictures from yesterday now?” Bette asks.
“Yeah, that’s what I’m opening here.” Tina says.
“Oh okay.” Bette replies.
“Just use the right arrow key to switch to the next one.” Tina says.
Bette starts to look through. The first bunch of pictures is the funny ones that Jessie started with. And Bette laughs a little at them. But then the more serious comes. Bette’s face expressions changes from a bright smile to a little sad. Tina sees the reaction, but doesn’t say anything.
“These are amazing:” Bette says and let out a little smile. “You are so beautiful.” Bette says and looks over at Tina. Who is now blushing. She leans in for a soft kiss.
“I love you Tina.” Bette says and smiles. Tina looks back smiling. She takes Bette’s free hand and holds it tight as Bette goes through the rest of the pictures.
“Jessie is a great photographer.” Bette says after the last pictures.
“Yeah, she is.” Tina agrees.
“There was one picture in there I would like to have here in my office.” Bette says and looks at Tina and leans in for a bit more passionate kiss.
“Yeah?” Tina says, giving away a little smile.
“Yeah.” Bette says. “Well, are you ready to take on the course?” Bette asks and gets up.
“Yes, I am.” Tina says.
“Okay, let’s go, I’ll take your camera.” Bette says.
“Where too?” Tina asks as she pushes herself through the door.
“Out back to the range. I have to warm up a little before we go out.” Bette says. “I have to get my bag and a key to the car. I’ll be right out.” Bette says and runs into the pro shop. She runs into Lara.

my poor heart….great chapter
Great job. Keep it coming please.
Always a great pleasure to read your story. Thank you
My goodness, nobody could ever dream about a better and more caring support then the one Bette gives to Tina – especially here.
She’s so right : there’s nothing worst than holding tears back and endlessly putting a mask for everybody around…
Tears are the best medication to erase a growning inward tense or a hidden sorrow.
You know, Lauren, I was expecting Bette’s joy discovering the photos Jessie took of her T, but you added something beautiful here : the way one can see behind the expressions of the loved one, particularly when those expressions were fixed on photos to be read more carefully than during the moving reality.
I also love the way our lovely Bette choiced to bring Tina in a lonely and sweet place to let her physically express her fears and pain. That was truly tactful.
No, really, it would be simply impossible to be more caring and delicate…
Great chapter, Lauren.
oh my poor heart too…so very sad but kind too cuz Tina have someone who loves her beyond everything in the world and never will disappoint her..hey what about Tinas bro sis and dad they never called to her? please let Tina start feel her legs soon im begging you..great chapter as always thanks
Its sad,but I don’t think you could ask for someone better than Bette to be by your side. Hopefully, Tina will start to regain the feeling in her legs. I’m a bit worried about Jessie, but as I said back when, I still think the two will take her in, they have a lot of love so theirs plenty to share.
what a powerful chapter.. love this bette and this strong tina.. they will make it..she will walk.. please soon
Lauren…great chapter. Bette was setting the mood for Tina to relax. For Tina to feel comfortable and then Bette told her to let it all go. That was truly touching. The connection between the two of them is amazing. Tina needs to mourn her loss…not that it’s permanent, but she needs to feel her sadness — then of course will come her anger. It’s the same steps taken to mourn death. Lauren…thanks for the lovely chapter.
Wow great chapter. Yeah Bette here to pick you up Tina and don’t worried anything she will take care of you! Ok post soon please, thanks!
“I’m here to pick you up. I’m not going anywhere.” awww….this is so sweet. love conquers all.
I loved this chapter …….it is simply amazing and cant wait for more .
“You don’t have to be so strong you know? It’s okay for you to fall apart.” Bette says softly…..“I’m here to pick you up. I’m not going anywhere.”…. “I see it Tina and Jessie saw it. Please let go of your mask. I know that this is all new and scary, but hiding your true feelings from me isn’t going to help”….. “Please just cry baby, you need to cry.
Lauren, this was Beautiful, simply Beautiful…
Love this loving Bette,She is like a rock with Tina. Tina is being so strong but she needs to let Bette help her and stop being sad. Thanks
Wow, to have such a love. Great chapter. Hope that Tina’s condition improves soon. But, it’s good that they have this time to observe just how much they love each other, thru whatever comes their way. Please post again, soon.
