    B&T reunite 9 years after season 1: Lazing around the house and some big decisions are made

     

     

    “You’re so cute sometimes baby.”

     

     

    “Only sometimes?”

     

     

    “Yeah you have your moments…” Tina laughed as Bette raised her eyebrow playfully.

     

     

    “I guess I’m lucky that you love me anyway.”

     

     

    Tina became more serious. “I do love you…I love everything about you.”

     

     

    Bette smiled. “I love you too T…do you want to elaborate what ‘everything’ encompasses?”

     

     

    Tina laughed again before she kissed Bette. “There’s one more thing I have to tell you. Don’t worry babe it’s a good thing.”

     

     

    “Okay T.”

     

     

    “I’ve been talking to Grace and she’s started the paper work so you could adopt Eli if that’s what you want?”

     

     

    Tears welled up in Bette’s eyes she nodded. “I do T I really do.”

     

     

    “I’ll call Grace while you go to pick up Eli. She’ll fax over somethings that’ll need our signature but we can get this process started officially.”

     

     

    Bette’s tears were coming down but she was laugh as well. “God T this is really happening.”

     

     

    “Yeah. You don’t think we’re going to fast do you?”

     

     

    “No we love each other, and we make each other unbelievably happy. We deserve to start our life together as soon as we possibly can. Do you think we’re going too fast?”

     

     

    Tina was smiling. “I want to be with you…all the time if that’s possible.”

     

     

    Bette laughed. “Well since I also want to be with you all the time I don’t think that’ll be a problem. I think we have all our bases covered T.”

     

     

    “Yeah now we just need to follow through on all our plans.”

     

     

    “I’m going to have to sell my house, pack up all my stuff…there’s a lot to do.”

     

     

    Tina was laughing. “We can write up a to-do list babe and well if I want to leave at the end of the year I won’t be able to take any extra time off.”

     

     

    “So you can’t extend your vacation?”

     

     

    “Probably not I’ll have to talk to my boss and fill him in on what we decided he’s a good guy but he’ll want me to get through all my current projects and he’ll want my input on future projects so I might be a little busy for awhile.”

    8. I’ve been following this story from its beginning. It is so awesome. I also love that you write detailed and layered chapters. You take the time to have the story unfold at a realistic pace. Great job. Bette is so accomodating w/o being a doormat. Being a diehard TiBetter this is how I pictured their life together. I hope this happens on the TV show.

    13. You, of course, can’t see it, but I’m doing my happy dance. :) Glad to see this story back, finally! You peg Peggy pretty dead on; that stream of words without stopping. Ah, I do love her so! I had to laugh at Bette getting sleepy with Tina stroking her hair; I’m the same way. I think it’s cute that Bette wants to ask Eli’s permission. Seems about right if she’s going to be stepping into their lives. As for Tina and Melvin alone… yikes. Can’t wait to read all about it, though! Love how long your posts are, and I hope you don’t keep us waiting as long next time!

    15. Is this story every worth the wait. Great job. Love how B&T are actually talking to each other, how Eli is included in all they’re plans and thoughts, especially Bette. Melvin will come around now that Peggy got a hold of him. I agree with AmandaMG, a baby sister would be good.

    16. The talk that Peggy had with Melvin seemed to have kick started his want to maybe make things right. He maybe doing this for Bette and Himself but in the long run it will also be for Tina and Eli. I am so glad that they are working towards becoming a true family.

    22. I love this B&T (and Eli) I love how they communicate better now…how they are with each other. I am proud of how Bette is so protective of her family. I like how they were both willing to compromise about the move. I guess in a nutshell I love this story. Thanks for continuing to post and giving us something wonderful to read.

    23. I like how long your chapters are. Thank you. This is such a sweet love story. Totally love Eli, although I don’t agree with Bette feeling like she has to his permission to marry Tina. It is cute, but Eli is still a nine year old child.
