    “What’s stopping you from pursuing it?”

    “To be honest I would have to say Angie. It’s not so much about finances now as it is about having a predictable schedule where I know I will have my weekends pretty much free to be with her. She and I have similar schedules with the school breaks and holidays. I love times like this when I get bonus days. This trip was so unexpected and getting to spend the extra few days with her has been terrific.”

    “If we’re together you would have her with you all the time.”

    “I know but this reconciliation is about you and me Tee. We have to want it for us. Angie will always have her parents. I want my wife and life-partner back. I’m not compromising our relationship to have more time with her, and I’m not using her to fill any gaps that we might have as a couple.”

    “I agree. I just want you to be happy. I also wanted to let you know that I will support whatever decision you make. I would rather live a more modest lifestyle if we had to so that you could have your dream.”

    “Thank you Tee. That means everything to me. Until now I didn’t even realize how important your belief in me matters. What about you. Do you miss the movie business? Are you happy at the center?”

    Just then the server comes to clear their dinner plates and brings dessert and coffee. They had decided to share dessert and Tina made the selection. Not surprisingly she ordered the most decadent Godiva chocolate laden item on the menu, but was considerate enough to ask for a side of plain vanilla ice cream just for Bette. Bette didn’t care much for chocolate and she just played with the ice cream. Her treat was getting pleasure just from watching Tina as she indulges her one weakness. After several forkfuls Tina answers Bette’s question.

    5. Very strong post. In my opinion both Tina and Bette are truly trying to get this relationshipwork for good. Knowing how strong they (sexually) react on each other, it’s very strong to see that they hold back (shower separately) and talk. It gives me strenght in my situation with a friend. Thank you for this post.

    6. Fantastic update! I am glad they started to talk. I didn’t remember that it was Tina Who cheated in their marriage.

      And a very wise decision to hold back at a intimate reconnection. Let them first handle their trust issues and mistakes from their first relationship.

      Honesty is still the best policy in couple hood. To be able to understand on a different perpective to avoid misunderstanding need a lots of endurance and patient. It doesn’t matter right or wrong, not about to agree or disagree. When you love someone is a package, you cannot select what you like or dislike in a person, is only how much you can endure and bring it into your life and of course if someone change to someone you like then why together in the first place…… Just a thought ….

      frank and abertademente, not to fall in
      same trap of the past because they have a new beginning.
