“I’m not, I can’t possibly get away on such short notice, I have a lot of work at the studio and the center” Tina replied
Bette felt the tightness in her chest disappear she could breathe again.
“Was she upset because I was here, did you tell her I was temporarily moving in?”
“Yeah I, did and like I said don’t worry about it, me and Helena have an understanding we have a pretty open relationship, she trusts me and I trust her”
Tina didn’t want to tell Bette about her talk with Helena, Tina didn’t want Bette to feel that she was the cause of her relationship with Helena going sour, if Tina was honest with herself she saw there was no where left to go with Helena she knew things with Helena where never going to be long term, and Helena was right stepping back and re-evaluating the relationship would avoid either one of them from being hurt in the long run.
So for now she decided, would keep the status of her relationship with Helena to herself.
“Are you hungry?”
“Yeah actually I am” Bette said getting up walking towards the kitchen
“Do you want to go out?”
“Noooooo, please no more eating out” Bette made a sad face
Ugh so cute Tina thought, she just wanted to take Bette into her arms and give her a huge, huge hug.
“We can go to your mom and dad’s”
“Mom and Dad’s, well yeah I guess I can call then see if they’re up, it might be kinda nice I haven’t had a Sunday breakfast or brunch with them in a while, ok let me call them” Tina said
It had just dawned to Bette that Tina had no idea that for the last month Bette had been to the Kennard’s for Sunday breakfast.
“T, you don’t have to call them” Bette said taking a sip of hr coffee
“Oh, did you call them already?”
“No” Bette said shaking her head side to side
“Bette I just don’t want to show up and expect mom to cook breakfast for us”
“Tina, I’ve been going to breakfast with Steve and Alley every Sunday for the last month I think she expects me to show up now”
“What, you’ve been invited to breakfast with my parents every Sunday and why haven’t I been invited after all I am their daughter, geez”
“I think Alley kinda figured you and Helena always had plans”
“But still it would have been nice to be invited” Tina sulked
“Awe ..come on T I can’t help it if they like me better”
“What?” Tina screamed playfully slapping Bette’s arm
“Come on go get dressed, you can be my guest and surprise them” Bette teased
“Alley promised me French toast for breakfast” Bette said rubbing her stomach
“Fine, give me 10 minutes” Tina said as she walked away towards her bedroom

oh man two in one day. thank you! I’m glad Helena is backing off. she’s no fool I guess. who was Tina trying to fool saying that B was just a friend?! as if!
I love it. Invite her indeed. This is almost fun, except for Helena. Helena and Shane are correct, the love they feel for each other is so evident to everyone but them. This is just great. Let them keep saring the house and meals, etc. they will very quickly realize just how much they do care for each other. Thanks for posting. PPS
Oh goody another post, maybe we can get one more today. Bette is cracking me up. She’s been having Sunday brunch for a month at Tina’s parents. This should be good. TahTah Helena.

I started taking breaks between each paragraph so it’ll seem longer, I’d go throw a load in the washer or recaulk my shower. Then my eyes would cheat and look down. Thanks for the 3 in 1 day ILM. You’re awesome.

Ok, something I meant to say earlier and was too excited. Is Helena crazy ir what? Tina didn’t need to ask her permission to let Bette stay there. Hell, I do believe it is Tina’s house after all, she can invite anyone she wants to stay there. Permission, I don’t think so. Goodbye Helena, and don’t come back. Enough said.

It’s so good to meet a sense-making Helena. I think she didn’t have to give her permission for Bette, she should have known though. I read it taking brakes too so that it would last longer…lol
wow it’s great to see 2 posts! i would love to read another one very soon. I’m a tibetter but my heart goes out a little to Helena in this story. Thought Bette wanted to win Tina back earlier on in the story. Can’t wait to see how things go. So far Tina has been really nice to Bette but I wonder if Bette goes after her would Tina be able to accept her wholeheartedly again? It’s really hard to believe and trust a person again after you see them cheat on you.
