Angelica & The Artist – Chapter 41 “Finale”
“Oh I don’t know about that…..let’s just get me through this one first.”
The two shared a laugh together.
“Bette, I really can not tell you how amazing the gallery looked last night. Angie took me there so I could see it and I was left speechless. I couldn’t believe that those were my paintings hanging on the walls.”
“Well….thank you, but it’s easy to put something together when the quality of the art is as good as yours. I am certain that tonight will be a very successful debut for you.”
Tina and Angie returned to join in on the discussion and before long it was time to get ready to leave for the gallery.
“Lynds, what time are your parents arriving?”
Looking down at her watch……”they should be on the ground now. I offered to meet them at the airport, but they said they would just go straight to their hotel and then make their way to the gallery and meet me there.”
“OK…well then I guess we should get going then.”
When they arrived a short time later, Meg had everything under control with the caterers and she smiled when she saw Lyndsay walk in holding Angie’s hand. She had watched Angie change so much over the last few months since meeting Lyndsay and knew that her ‘boss’ had found the love of her life and she couldn’t be happier for her.
When Angie and Lyndsay came over she offered her congratulations to the young artist.
” Lyndsay….how nice to see you again. I just wanted to offer my congratulations…..your paintings are amazing.”
“Thanks Meg. I really appreciate everything you have done to help with putting all this together.”
“Oh you are very welcome, I can’t wait for the reviews to start coming in.”
Angie also added her support to that statement. “Don’t you worry Meg…..I’m pretty certain there will be a lot of chatter tonight once the paintings are revealed.”
The two made their way back to the office to go over the last minute arrangements leaving Lyndsay alone in the front part of the gallery. She found a chair and took a seat trying to get a few minutes rest before the event started. Tina saw her sitting and came over to take the seat next to her.

Well, you know I loved this story and your writing, but i have to say I think it begs a sequel. I think that you should let that imagination run amok and see where it takes Angie and Lyndsay. You have a remarkable talent Taz and whether you write a sequel to this or not, I will be there for your next story!
BRAVO !!! ***APPLAUSE*** Tazzie, I couldn’t agree more with Toby4ever! This certainly requires a sequel. I love when a writer can have me fall in love with a character which they create entirely. I have done so with Lyndsay. The coupling with Angelica is brilliant, and there are not too many people who could garner such a strong following when the “main” characters aren’t B&T, Belena, or Danish. You managed to capture the beauty of a story, and really had me on the edge of my seat throughout. How appropriate that this story should end just as the year itself comes to a close. Thanks for your kind words in your AN’s, but especially the intimate email’s which share our lives. You have become a lifetime friend, and I’ll forever be grateful that our paths crossed. I am also quite thankful that you took that chance to sit down and hit POST on that very first chapter. I know that writing has become a part of you now, and what you have received in return from gracious readers who take the time to comment can never be taken away. Looking forward to your next creation. Please don’t take too long. xo
I loved this story…I agree with toby, a sequel would be very nice. I was hoping that Angie would propose to Lindsay…that’s where the sequel could start.
Brilliant! I have to agree with Chicki that this story requires a sequel. I have been captivated by the story, as you know, since you started it. I too have been blessed to have formed what I hope is a lifelong friendship between us. I am looking already looking forward to whatever you write next. To echo Chicki, BRAVO! APPLAUSE. TAKE A BOW. Your friend, K x
This has been a fantastic story. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. I to think there should be a sequel.
You can take a bpw on this your first.and a lot of encores. Would love to see a sequel to this. hank you for this wonderful story. HAPPY NEW YEAR. a WONDERFUL 2009
I have loved this story from the begining, and that’s exactly what it is the begining. I agree with the rest, a sequel is needed. How about Ang and Lyndsay get married, start a family, etc, etc. You are awesome by the way.
Hey, Tazzie! This END was just perfect! Our hats are off to you and we have LOUD CLAPS for you, for bringing us such an excellent story. Just holy wow, dearest Tazzie! We agree with the majority here, who requests a SEQUEL. Oh, yeah. Whenever you feel that you are ready to give us the ride to the development of Angie and Lindsay’s relationship, we are ready. Just give us the call and we will fasten our seatbelts to do the trip you invite us to make. Have a Happy New Year and our best wishes for you and your family, sweetie! – Hugs and kisses on both your cheeks. Lucero & Marsha (Proud Salsa Aunties to the ever loving JC and Eunichick)
thnkz for a happy ending. well done bringing the families together.
Following Chicki’s lead, Brava!!! on your first story. Indeed I’ve followed it and loved every minute of it. You have done a wonderful job of giving us a story reminiscent of Bette and Tina yet not having them as your main characters and that in itself is something to be very proud of. Because I, like many others, only read stories about Bette and Tina. You have captivated the spirit and love of our girls while developing and maintaining a story about other characters, the mark of a very good writer. And yes, this may be the end of this portion of their lives but it does BEG A SEQUEL. We have to know how successful the showing was and what happens to them in their lives and love for each other. Wonderful first story. Please grace us with a SEQUEL to this wonderful story and, if not, we will follow you with whatever you choose to write. Thanks again for a wonderful story. Happy New Year, wish you and yours a very successful 2009.
Such a beautiful story…so sad to see it end. I agree I think it’s worthy of a sequel, yes? Thank you for sharing your wonderful talent…
