Tina: well we really like this Hot Tub
Marti: Its is one of our best sellers it allows you the comfort of a lounge big enough for two and the room for a lot of friends so it can be a romantic setting or a party starter best of both worlds
Bette: It says you have them in stock
Marti: Yes and I have it available in the Blue, Green. Red or Marble Pebble
Tina: I think the Marble
Marti: Good choice this way you have all of the colors and when the lights are on at night the tub shines
Bette: Ok is it really hard to maintain and what about installation
Tina: we have a place for it on a separate deck with an electrical box in place
Marti: well then that’s half of the battle and we have a list of electricians available to help you out
Tina: Oh good… and maybe with some luck we can get one to come and look tonight…
Bette: Well don’t count on it… its Sunday…
Marti: well actually we have a few in the area… and if they are close to where you live… I have seen them check out the area… I’ll give you the list… its worth giving a few a call to see who could help you out…
Tina: Thanks…
Marti: and as far as maintance… they are so easy to take care of… and as long as you don’t use a lot of body lotion… you only have to change the water 3 or 4 times a year tops…
Bette: hmmmm… sounds easy enough… ok let’s do it…
All of the paper work is done… and they are now the proud owners of one beautiful Hot Tub
They got all of their information… and were just about to leave…
Marti: Ladies… hold up one minute… as she hands them 2 king size towels… a basket of different scented oils… a starter kit… and a Rubber Ducky…
Tina: Oh how cute…
Marti: here’s my card… any problems at all call me… and I’ll fix them… and the tub will be delivered on Wednesday… if your not ready for it just call and we can always reschedule… shaking their hands… they all said goodbye…
Bette: putting her arm around Tina’s waist… happy now baby…
Tina: I’ll be happier when I get you in the tub…
Bette: now down girl… lets keep this a secret from the girls…
Tina: well we could try… but you know Alice…
Bette: well this week is going to be a busy week… and with us going away for the weekend…
Tina: Well Shane usually house sits for us…
Bette: she won’t tell a soul… you know it just might be ready for a test dip on Friday morning before we leave…
Tina: hmmmmmmm sounds good to me… now we better find an electrician when we get home…
Bette: lets pick up a pizza for dinner later… this way we don’t have to go back out and we don’t have to cook… well you don’t have to cook…”
Tina: something tells me you have ulterior motives…
Bette: who me… never… not me baby…

WHAT?! OMG Amanda in your author’s note, you totally just insulted “All In The Family.” At least in that show we know Archie and Edith aren’t supposed to get it on. Plus it makes me laugh unlike the shit IC is serving us. Anyway, the rubber ducky made me laugh, which reminds me of something. WTF was up with the rubber ducky in the birthing tank from the S2 finale? It’s not like Angelica would’ve popped out and said, “oooooo ducky!” and started playing with it.
i do believe the rubber ducky in the birthing tank was also a thermeter.. for the water temp… not sure but… all i know is that when i had my kids… i wanted any and all drugs they had available at the time…AND I LOVED “ALL IN THE FAMILY” SORRY I DIDN’T MEAN TO DISS THEM… I STILL WATCH THEM IN RERUNS…
Hey, I can recall a time or two when Edith and Archie kissed, which is more than we’re getting from the girls on TV this season. I have 3 older brothers so I’m inclined to agree with Joanie re: the puppy. But seriously. I think Tina made a HUGH mistake letting the kids use the pool. Besides the insurance issues, they going to need the lock on the gate and some razor wire to maintain the kind of privacy they’re used to, especially with the hot tub coming. Man I thought Electricians did pretty well in NYC, but they must do even better in LA to be in the same neighborhood with the girls.
Great as usual….just one question though….wasn’t Tina seeing her period???? How come she went swimming (well I know..tampons), and how come she’s flirting with Bette, knowing she can’t give her “none”
I know that life gets in the way of living the life you love. LOML has ill for over twoweeks. Virus,Congestive Heart troulle. Plus found a lump in his brest, Go to the cancer center tomorrow. .Each day is a good day. Hey, Love all in the family. Tina is teasing Bette,she has something in store for her. Great chapter Amamda, it looks like B&T have made some new friends (It’s good to see that they have nice neighbors.). I to am worried about the kids and the pool, it looks like food for Drama. I love your stories, keep the chappies comming girl :o). Actually I would love for you to write for the show, because at least we would get some affection between B&T.

Amanda…I’m honored and blushing that I was in the story…well sort of. LOL. Really love how the story is going. WOW, that was definitely quick service. (I cannot even begin to comment on that one. LMAO). Tina in her red bikini…well, I’m sure Bette was thinking of Tina out of her bikini. For some reason, the pool is going to be a really big problem. Especially, with the kids. Glad Bette thought about getting a better lock for the gate, but they should get a cover for the pool. Babe…thanks for the mention. Again, I turned a few shades of red (my favorite color) when I read. As always a pleasure.
