On the way Tina decides to try some of the phone numbers of the electricians…the first 2-she left a message… the third picked up…
Man: Hello
Tina: Hi… may I speak with Chas
Chas: This is him… what can I do for you
Tina: Hi My name is Tina Kennard and I was given your phone number from Holiday Hot Tubs…
Chas: Great… so you’re getting a Hot Tub… where do you live
Tina: on West Vine Street…
Chas: really…
As the Saab pulls into their driveway… Chas was sitting on his porch… and he sees a woman talking on the phone… getting out of the car…
Chas: do you drive a Saab…
Tina: Excuse me…
Chas: did you just get out of a Saab
Tina: As a matter of fact I did… why
Chas: Well I live right across the street from you… if you turn around you’ll see me
Tina does and Bette is listening to the one sided conversation… as Tina waves at him… Chas walks over
Chas: Hi… you do know that you’re all set here for a Hot Tub… I wired it about 6 months ago for the people who lived here…
Tina: Yes we know… but By The way… I’m Tina and this is Bette
Chas: I’m Chas… and it’s not a problem… I could get your tub all hooked up in no time… so when is the tub being delivered
Tina: Tuesday
Chas: Well if you can get it here tomorrow… I could stop by after dinner and check out what I need… and you could be in your Tub by Wednesday night
Bette: Hmmm now I do like the sound of that…
Chas: good just let me know…
Bette takes out her cell and calls… Hi Marti… good thanks…
Tina: well what did she say…
Bette: they are delivering the tub with in the hour… seems they have more being delivered tomorrow… so as many as they can get delivered tonight… will save them time tomorrow
Tina: Its just keeps getting better… calling Chas… and telling him… Ok he said he will be back later and check out what he needs… babe we could be in our tub Tuesday night…
Bette: well after RADAR… we have to go… remember…
Tina: Oh shit… I almost forgot… but we don’t have to stay all night…
Bette: by 9 we leave…
Before they knew it they heard a truck pull into their driveway…
Bette goes out and the 2 men put the tub on the deck… Attaching the top… within 30 minutes they were done and on their way…
Chas saw them leave and he was back … with his 2 kids…
Tina: Hey… Hi there… what’s your name…
Johnny: I’m Johnny and this is my sister Joanie
Tina: I’m Tina… that’s Bette…
Joanie: You were right Johnny… they have a big pool
Johnny: I told you… I was over here with my dad when he was doing some stuff…
Tina: Well you know I was going to go into the pool… we could ask your dad if you can go in with me…
Joanie: daddy… daddy… can we go swimming… can we please
Chas: looking at Tina… well if Tina said its ok
Tina: Not a problem…
Chas: ok go back home and get your suits…
The two kids just starting stripping… they already had their suits on
Chas: well you little rats… you had it all planned
Tina: ok kids give me a few minutes to get changed… I’ll be right out…
5 minutes later Tina was back… she was wearing a 2 piece suit… but not like any suit Bette has ever seen her in…
Tina: ok kids… lets go…
Chas: looks like Tina likes kids…
Bette: Nope… she loves kids…
Chas: well it looks like she has made some friends for life here…
Bette: I think your right… smiling at the sight before her… I think your right…

WHAT?! OMG Amanda in your author’s note, you totally just insulted “All In The Family.” At least in that show we know Archie and Edith aren’t supposed to get it on. Plus it makes me laugh unlike the shit IC is serving us. Anyway, the rubber ducky made me laugh, which reminds me of something. WTF was up with the rubber ducky in the birthing tank from the S2 finale? It’s not like Angelica would’ve popped out and said, “oooooo ducky!” and started playing with it.
i do believe the rubber ducky in the birthing tank was also a thermeter.. for the water temp… not sure but… all i know is that when i had my kids… i wanted any and all drugs they had available at the time…AND I LOVED “ALL IN THE FAMILY” SORRY I DIDN’T MEAN TO DISS THEM… I STILL WATCH THEM IN RERUNS…
Hey, I can recall a time or two when Edith and Archie kissed, which is more than we’re getting from the girls on TV this season. I have 3 older brothers so I’m inclined to agree with Joanie re: the puppy. But seriously. I think Tina made a HUGH mistake letting the kids use the pool. Besides the insurance issues, they going to need the lock on the gate and some razor wire to maintain the kind of privacy they’re used to, especially with the hot tub coming. Man I thought Electricians did pretty well in NYC, but they must do even better in LA to be in the same neighborhood with the girls.
Great as usual….just one question though….wasn’t Tina seeing her period???? How come she went swimming (well I know..tampons), and how come she’s flirting with Bette, knowing she can’t give her “none”
I know that life gets in the way of living the life you love. LOML has ill for over twoweeks. Virus,Congestive Heart troulle. Plus found a lump in his brest, Go to the cancer center tomorrow. .Each day is a good day. Hey, Love all in the family. Tina is teasing Bette,she has something in store for her. Great chapter Amamda, it looks like B&T have made some new friends (It’s good to see that they have nice neighbors.). I to am worried about the kids and the pool, it looks like food for Drama. I love your stories, keep the chappies comming girl :o). Actually I would love for you to write for the show, because at least we would get some affection between B&T.

Amanda…I’m honored and blushing that I was in the story…well sort of. LOL. Really love how the story is going. WOW, that was definitely quick service. (I cannot even begin to comment on that one. LMAO). Tina in her red bikini…well, I’m sure Bette was thinking of Tina out of her bikini. For some reason, the pool is going to be a really big problem. Especially, with the kids. Glad Bette thought about getting a better lock for the gate, but they should get a cover for the pool. Babe…thanks for the mention. Again, I turned a few shades of red (my favorite color) when I read. As always a pleasure.
