Tina: so how old are you guys…
Joanie: We’re 11… almost 12
Tina: wow your twins…
Johnny: yep but I’m older…
Tina: laughs at Joanie’s facial expressions… well its nice having a big brother… smiling
Joanie: well sometimes… I used to wish I had a puppy instead… do you have any brothers or sisters
Tina: I have 1 sister her name is Lisa so are you friends with Maggie
Joanie: yeah… we’re all the same age… but she is so shy… and quiet…
Tina: hmmmm…
Johnny: There are a lot of kids on this block…
Tina: I know… I see them every time I go jogging…
Johnny: I bet there’s enough kids to fill up this pool…
Tina: I bet your right… but you guys have to promise me… you won’t use the pool if we are not home… deal…
Joanie: don’t worry… I wouldn’t let him do that…
Tina: good… you know I will think of some kind of code for you… like I’ll get something and hang it on the fence… and when you see it… it would be ok to come for a swim… how’s that…
Johnny: wow that would be really cool… could we bring some other kids…
Tina: well I would have to meet them… and there parents would also have to say its ok for them to come here and swim… so like I said… no one swims here with out me being home…
Johnny: got it…
Tina: so where’s your mom…
Joanie: home… cleaning up after dinner… she let us come with dad… so we could swim…
Johnny: That was a secret Joanie…
Tina: its ok… I’m glad she let you…
just then a woman walked into the yard…
Joanie: Oh there’s Mom now…
Dawn: Hi… my name’s Dawn…
Tina: getting out of the pool… Hi I’m Tina and that’s Bette…
Bette: Hi… Please come in…
Dawn: I hope the kids are behaving…
Tina: oh yes… I just love kids…
Dawn: so do you have any children…
Tina: no not yet… but hopefully some day… you were lucky… a boy and a girl at the same time…
Dawn: well at the time… I don’t know how lucky I was… but now… I would have to say your right…
Chas: well this will be real easy… so by tomorrow night… you should be able to fill it up…
Tina: really… now I can’t wait…
Bette: Tina is just like a kid on Christmas morning…
Dawn: well I don’t blame her… some day I want a Hot Tub…
Chas: Some day…
Dawn: ok kids… time to get out… school tomorrow…
The kids get out… Bette handed them towels…
The kids thank Bette and Tina… and they all go home…
Bette goes over and locks the gate…
Bette: hey Tee… I think we should get a real lock for this gate… not that I don’t trust the kids… but it only takes one kid to come in here and possibility get hurt…
Tina: You’re right… especially now that they know they can swim… I think we can trust Johnny and Joanie…but like you said… it only takes 1 time…
Bette: oh by the way… nice suit…
Tina: thanks… now did you honestly think I was going to wear one of my usual suits…
Bette: to be honest… I didn’t even know you had a suit like this one… but I guess I should also get one just like it…
Tina: already done babe… I got you one when I picked this one up for myself… only yours is in orange with polka-dots
Bette: WHAT…
Tina: only kidding… yours is in Black…
Bette: looking at Tina… baby RED is your color… laughing…
Tina: What’s so funny…
Bette: if you would have warn your thong bikini… I wonder what Chas would have said…
Tina: Funny Porter… but I would never do that… that bikini is for your eyes only… no one else… as yours is for my eyes only…
Bette: Pulling Tina into her arms… and I wouldn’t want it any other way… Sealing it with a kiss… lets get you out of that wet bathing suit…
Tina: hmmmm… and then what…
Bette: I don’t know… but I’m sure I’ll think of something…

WHAT?! OMG Amanda in your author’s note, you totally just insulted “All In The Family.” At least in that show we know Archie and Edith aren’t supposed to get it on. Plus it makes me laugh unlike the shit IC is serving us. Anyway, the rubber ducky made me laugh, which reminds me of something. WTF was up with the rubber ducky in the birthing tank from the S2 finale? It’s not like Angelica would’ve popped out and said, “oooooo ducky!” and started playing with it.
i do believe the rubber ducky in the birthing tank was also a thermeter.. for the water temp… not sure but… all i know is that when i had my kids… i wanted any and all drugs they had available at the time…AND I LOVED “ALL IN THE FAMILY” SORRY I DIDN’T MEAN TO DISS THEM… I STILL WATCH THEM IN RERUNS…
Hey, I can recall a time or two when Edith and Archie kissed, which is more than we’re getting from the girls on TV this season. I have 3 older brothers so I’m inclined to agree with Joanie re: the puppy. But seriously. I think Tina made a HUGH mistake letting the kids use the pool. Besides the insurance issues, they going to need the lock on the gate and some razor wire to maintain the kind of privacy they’re used to, especially with the hot tub coming. Man I thought Electricians did pretty well in NYC, but they must do even better in LA to be in the same neighborhood with the girls.
Great as usual….just one question though….wasn’t Tina seeing her period???? How come she went swimming (well I know..tampons), and how come she’s flirting with Bette, knowing she can’t give her “none”
I know that life gets in the way of living the life you love. LOML has ill for over twoweeks. Virus,Congestive Heart troulle. Great chapter Amamda, it looks like B&T have made some new friends (It’s good to see that they have nice neighbors.). I to am worried about the kids and the pool, it looks like food for Drama. I love your stories, keep the chappies comming girl :o). Actually I would love for you to write for the show, because at least we would get some affection between B&T.

Amanda…I’m honored and blushing that I was in the story…well sort of. LOL. Really love how the story is going. WOW, that was definitely quick service. (I cannot even begin to comment on that one. LMAO). Tina in her red bikini…well, I’m sure Bette was thinking of Tina out of her bikini. For some reason, the pool is going to be a really big problem. Especially, with the kids. Glad Bette thought about getting a better lock for the gate, but they should get a cover for the pool. Babe…thanks for the mention.
