“Hey there, Mr. Max.” Kit smiled softly after getting over the shock.
“Hi, Kit. You okay ?” Max asked innocently.
Kit blushed but Max could only guess that, while knewing exactly what he had interrupted.
“You are such a troublemaker ! And what are you doing here by the way ?”
Now he was busted, because he came with the intent to make sure no trouble would befall Jenny. They may have had their differences, but she was his friend and he wouldn’t let someone harm her. Jenny had the talent to do that to herself regularly enough.
“Since we both know what we are doing here, we could join forces, don’t you think ?” He smiled broadly at Kit.
“You know what, Max, that’s a grand idea !”

Meanwhile Jenny had a hard time to believe some of the things she had heard from Marina, but was considering to give her the benefit of the doubt.
Are you out of your ever loving mind ? Her Inner Voice was monitoring closely.
Why ? Because her words could be true ? Jenny answered.
With ‘could be’ being the key here ! Think about where that’d led you in the first place and then tell me why HER of all people ?
I don’t want her… per se. Jenny tried to argue.
But ? IV wouldn’t let it slide.
You know you don’t have all the answers yourself and in the end it’s my decision to make. She defended herself.
That’s right, but think about it some more and you’ll see, that she is nothing but bad news. Come to your senses, girl ! You’ve grown so much since she left, don’t let her distroy that for you ! IV’s last try.
Jenny spaced out of everything around her and even IV.
As this inner discussion was going on, Marina watched her carefully. And as the final conclusion was reached, she felt her confidence falter… for the first time in her life she knew she was out of a chance.
“Jenny, what’s going on in your head ?” She asked quietly.
“You know, Marina, I’m glad we finally had the chance to talk…”
Marina lifted her hand and forestalled the easy to guess ‘but’. “And… ?”

u said u can’t write NC-17?? Who is supposed to believe that :P ?! It’s great! And I like the fact that you include a bit of Jenny/Marina in your story ;) that couple was the reason why i watched S1 and i was absolutely torn when I found out they’re not ending up together :((( PPS!

This was hot and at the same time light to read. i’m really curious to know how hel’s is going to explain things about her fortune, especially to Mrs P but i’m glad she’s not poor. Not that I’m mad at you about that because I know you never break a promise, so I’ll assume that you will post your chapter 25 somewhere during the weekend, isn’t it luv? Writing NC-17’s is not your thing huh, than please explain to me why I feel the way I do now after reading this chapter. Anyway loved this chapter a lot and after the cold shower I’m gonna take I will feel a lot more confortable ;). Thank you for this one.

So Helena has millions, Bette’s getting a buddy for Blue and the two of them are gettin a house together. I don’t think this can get any better. Please post soon. But how about a warning next time b/c i’m in serious need of a cold shower about now.
