Louise reminded Bette of Alice, but in a gentler way. Very talkative, though. She smiled.
“It was a great book, though. I actually have it here. Have you ever read it?”
“I started reading it but I never finished. Maybe I could borrow your book sometime? But now I actually really have to move my stuff in because we still have to do Marks room here and we would like to be done by the end of the day.”
“Yeah, sure, no problem.”
Both couples resumed their working. Louise and Mark were working like Roadrunner on speed and were also finished earlier, but that had more to do with Bette having thought about the way to arrange her books for another hour.
When they were finally finished, they both sat down on the bed. Bette noticed how silent Tina was, which was very unlike her. The Tina she knew would be very excited now and eager to share what she thought about Bette’s roommate and Bette’s room. She would give the brunette advice on everything.
“Baby, is something wrong?”
Tina looked up distractedly. “N-no, why?”
Bette put an arm around her blonde lover. “There sure is something wrong. Please, tell me about it.”
Tina sighed. “Okay. So, Louise. She’s… she’s pretty.”
“I didn’t even notice that. So what if she is?”
“She’s pretty and she’s young and seems to be very spontaneous…”
Bette looked confused, but then she realised the meaning of Tina’s words. “Christina Margaret Kennard, are you jealous?”
Tina blushed and fidgeted with her fingers. “No, of course not. I mean, I know you love me, but well, people change and… but I’m not jealous.”
“I cannot believe this.”
Tina grabbed a pillow and threw it at Bette’s head, laughing, hoping to hide her true feelings. Bette ducked away, taking the other pillow and throwing it at Tina in return. A pillow fight emerged from it that was only stopped by Louise coming in.
The lovers both immediately stopped and had a guilty look on their faces.
“Oh come on! I’m not your mother,” Louise rolled her eyes. She stretched herself on her bed.
“I’m going to go and find us some food. Do you want anything, Louise?” Tina asked.
“No, I just had lunch with Mark.”

Now why would Eric just walk into Bette’s room? Here comes more complications. Can’t hide from your past can you?

Hey Genner, Great new and fresh addition. Good to see Bette and Tina looking after each other. I just adored the green-eyed monster peaking out of Tina after see met Louise. Also, the uncomfortable moment when Bette had to think about how to explain how she and Tina first met and got together. They do need to be careful as unfortunately people will think of Tina as a predator after her being Bette’s teacher first and then starting a realtionship with her pupil. Not best to publicize when beginning a new job. Now the main point of delight is what the heck is Eric doing there???Looking forward to your next installment impatiently. The plot thickens as it begins to boil
Hi, dear sweet Gen! *waving* Gosh! Two magnificent updates in one day! You certainly know how to spoil us. Ah, this chappy was pretty interesting. How Bette is installed at the room she will share with a talkative roommate. That last entrance with Eric, showing up, doesn’t seem appealing. B&T moved there, so as not to find anyone known. That’s quite ironic. Hope he won’t bring any trouble to our beloved girls. Thanks for these 2 marvelous chapters.
