City Of Angels Chapter 4: What goes around, comes around.

“Death of the first born, the random chromosome, plague of darkness. I would say I’m full of life but technically, I’m not alive.”

She continued to wipe the floor with Bryce’s body who was trying to get away from the vengeful ghost woman. She continued to pummel him like a punching bag. He uttered out a half sob as he feebly wiped the blood that was clouding his eyes.

Dana grabbed him once again by his collar and in one swift motion she threw him against the table with the unused chemicals. She removed a wooden match from inside her jeans pocket and scrapes it against the table, igniting it.

“Whoa come on. This shit is flammable.” Bryce attempted to get away from the table but Dana pinned him down by the wrist. Her hand inched the match over the pool of flammable chemicals threatening to throw the match inside the pool.

“Tell me what I want to know. Officer Nick Roark. Where is he?”

“He hangs out at Starks gym on Deacon Street.” Bryce replied in a shaking voice. e He looked down in fear at the mach that was just dangling over the flammable substance. Jokingly Dana proceeded to bring the match closer to the chemicals as the broken police officer begged her to stop.

Dana let out a curt laugh from her lips as she blew out the match. Bryce let out a loud sigh of relief as his body began to relax. But like a cruel joke, Dana reignites the match.

With a killer like smile on her face, she tosses the match onto the table as the pool of chemicals busts into flames. Bryce nearly pissed in his pants for a second time as he tried to bolt away; But Dana’s yanked him back

“For the love of god let me go!” Bryce wailed like a little baby trying to break free from Dana’s grip. She pulled him into a bear hug almost shattering his rib cages, She leaned into his ear and whispered.

“God doesn’t love you.” She looked deep into the flickering flames that grew higher and higher with each tray of chemical it consumes. The rising fire is reflected into Dana’s carbon black eyes.
