My kiss on her cheek wasn’t a sincere one, and by the look on her face she knew it too. When I’m along or with my friends I can be myself with her and make it feel like we are the only two people in the world, yet the second when Lara walks in, I act like some emotionally voided drone. I really hate doing this to her.

The photo shoot took longer than I expected and it was really wearing me down. On top of that, the photographer I was working with was getting on my nerves. I couldn’t tell you how many times he wanted me to, pout, look sexy, lift my shirt up, show off my belly, and make sexy faces to the camera. I almost felt like killing myself at that point. But it was over and now I can focus on my next task.

The court house is filled with a mixture of people. Ranging from lawyers to judges to criminals. Unlike most people I love going to court. It’s where people‘s true identities are revealed. After all that’s where you see their true colors, under pressure. It’s a buffet for tragic cases.

Then like a shark smelling blood in the water, I spot my next case. A middle age couple is sitting on a small bench hugging each other as they weep openly. Tragedy has definitely reared it’s ugly head like a shark emerging from the waters. It’s definitely worth checking out.

I can’t help the feeling of anger creeping up in my body as I sit and listen to the case. I stare at the back of the defendant’s head as his smug smile remains on his face as he does small talk with his high priced lawyer that is sitting across from him. Greg Conroy, A 45 year old wall street tycoon millionaire with enough money and legal pull to make anyone in the judicial court system to look the other way. Another pile of street trash just waiting to be taken out.

And while this is going on, the middle aged man is sitting in the witness box with a heart wrenching look on his face as he describes how his daughter was sexually molested and killed.

Damn you Conroy. That bastard is going to walk. He’s guilty as sin and he knows it. I hate this guy already. Well he doesn’t have to wait long. I’m going to make sure he never hurts anyone again. There will be plenty of time to kill this son of a bitch. I was so blinded by my hatred for this guy I completely lost track of the time. I’m suppose to meet Alice for lunch in a few minutes. Not to worry Dana. You can always dispose of this dirt bag later.
