    “How’s that working for you?”

“It’s not. That’s why I’m in the pool.”

    Shane nodded.

“How much more time do you need?”

“There’s not enough time in the world for the amount of time I need,” Bette laughed sadly.

“An hour it is. I’ll go grab breakfast. They’ll start showing up in a few hours. You have time.”

    Bette nodded and resumed swimming.

Shane watched her for a second and then disappeared into the house.

Tina rounded the corner in a full sprint. The last week was a lot for her. Making sure the movie wrapped on time, making sure KiKi got to the opening on time, getting herself to the opening, seeing Bette, giving her speech, being back in LA, not staying at the house with Bette. So much. Tina pushed herself harder. She couldn’t stop until she made it to the top of the hill. Her legs were shaky and her lungs burned but she kept pushing.

She needed to expend some of that pent up sexual energy. She had worked herself up after thinking about Bette between her legs all morning. She wanted Bette so badly but she knew she couldn’t have her just yet. It was going to be a process. Tina ran faster until she reached the top.

    “Tina?”

Tina faintly heard her name as she gasped for air. Her heart was beating loudly inside her ears.

    “Tina?”

Tina turned around and there was Gabby…and her big mouth. Tina was still trying to catch her breath and was unable to speak.

“I thought that was you. What a surprise! I thought you moved to Vancouver.”

Tina took a deep breath and let it out slowly.

“I didn’t move to Vancouver. I was just there for work.”

“Oh. That’s not how I understood.”

    “I heard.”

    Gabby wasn’t deterred.

    “Is Bette here with you?”

Gabby looked around. Tina knew exactly what she was doing.

“Bette’s at home,” Tina emphasized home.

“As a matter of fact, we are having people over today. So, I’ve got to get going.”

    Tina began walking away.

“Give my best to Bette,” Gabby said loudly.

Tina waved and took several deep breaths.

Shane found Bette watering the garden when she got back with coffee and breakfast sandwiches from The Planet. Bette stepped back and looked. Shane noticed Bette had swept the patio and rearranged the furniture as well. Shane shook her head.

    1. Great chapter!

Bette and AJ and together with Tina, he is so smart and adorable! Very clever from him to let them join him in the pool.

Bette is ready to try to rebuild their relationship and Tina comes with that line, “Things that will most likely break your heart…some more.”. But they have to make a clean start and this is necessary to put everything out and then away to never come back.

I’m sad the end is coming but also looking forward to the next chapter.

      • Thank you so much! I’ll be tackling a GenQ storyline when I’m done with this one. This my first attempt at fanfic and it has been such a privilege writing this story. When it’s all done, I’ll go back and read it from start to finish to see what I could’ve done better.

Bette is ready to rebuild but she’s also nervous. She portrays alpha but we know she’s fragile. So I’m excited to see how Tina navigates her fragility and how Bette hopefully starts to forgive her. But I don’t know. We shall see.

Next chapter is going to be a doozy for sure!

AJ is my absolute favorite. I kinda wish I wrote him as an orphan or something. I love the way Bette and AJ interact.

        • You are a great writer, your writing style is really good, don’t think you have to change anything. I especially love how you write their inner thoughts. The story flows and keeps you wanting more.

I adore AJ, maybe you can add him in your new story. Bette doing something for a orphan house, they meet and Bette and him bond immediately and Bette wants to adopt him, giving him the warm and loving home he deserves. I am adopted and it would be so great to read something like that. But whatever you’re new story will be about, i will certainly read it!
