    The last chapter – Bette comes home. (And thanks so much for the spotlight! I can’t tell you all how happy I am!!!)

    Bette chuckled. “I like that compliment.” She closed her eyes and kissed the back of Tina’s neck before she closed her eyes. “I love you, T.”

    Tina smiled, cuddling into the warmth she thought she’d lost for good. “Love you too.”

    And after sleep had come over them both, they woke up in just the same way. With Bette’s relief came Tina’s confusion, but with a little teasing, they both forgot and went about their day. And soon, all that was left of Bette’s confusing and seemingly impossible memories were the lessons she had taken to heart. It turned out all they really needed was each other.

     

     

    EPILOGUE

     

    Bette opened her eyes, slowly focusing on the sensation that had woken her up. Then the corner of her mouth turned up. “You’re so bad, T …” She gently turned her head to her beautiful wife, squirming as Tina’s mischievous hand slipped between her legs. The tease was made more difficult because it was over the material of her shorts. “Mmm … that’s nice …”

    “Nice?” Tina teased, pressing her fingers harder as she moved in closer to Bette and breathed into her ear. “I’d like to think it’s more than nice …”

    “Wonderful!” Bette whispered, feeling Tina’s teeth gently tease her ear. She closed her eyes and had to cover her mouth to keep from moaning too loudly. “Mmm …”

    “I know we don’t have much time …” she whispered, getting off on Bette’s reactions to her touch, “… But your body’s been driving me crazy for days … and I neeeeed it. Don’t tell me to stop.”

    Bette shook her head, breathing as quietly as she could. That made Tina chuckle.

    “Good.”

    Tina slowly made her way under the covers to kiss down her wife’s stomach, to pull off her shorts and tease with her tongue. But when Bette started to get louder, she decided to satisfy before they were interrupted, and her technique worked. It silenced Bette for the time being.

    It was too good to speak. Bette could hardly breathe, wanting to save that moment in time for her entire day. She knew that work would be crazy, but the memory of this would have her on a high for hours. Not that she hated her job; she rather liked it. When she heard Tina moaning at the taste of her, she couldn’t resist the same response. She spread her legs wider and whimpered at the sensation of Tina’s expert tongue sending all imaginable pleasure through her body. “Mmm … T …”
