“Ok” Alice answered pulling out her Blackberry and writing it down. “When are we going to have this party?” She looked to Bette and Tina.
“Well you have the date of the wedding; we weren’t planning on an engagement party.” Bette answered looking at Tina.
“No engagement party? It simply is not done.” Helena was appalled and for a moment sounded like Peggy. “You must have an engagement party for all the folks who won’t be invited to the wedding. By the way, how many guests will there be?” She did not miss a beat. She was clearly in her element.
“We haven’t decided yet.” Tina answered this time.
“What” the group responded in shock. Muttered side conversations broke out.
“We are planning on something small at our new house with close friends and family.”
“Close friends and family for you two is about three hundred” Helena quickly calculated. “You two are a power couple. There are certain folks that you have to invite whether you want to or not. You either have a huge wedding probably five hundred or you have an engagement party for three hundred and a wedding of still close to two hundred without cutting too deeply into the egos of WeHo, the studio and art worlds you travel in.” Helena paused here.
“She’s right.” Tina sighed and turned to Bette.
“We could elope” Bette said hopefully. “What do you say Angie, do you want to invite any of your friends to the party?”
“Not Jodi” Angelica responded surprising them all into silence. She signed her answer as well alerting Bette that Jodi was near.
“Jodi not Jelly friend?” Jodi signed.
“Jodi Jelly friend. Jodi not sleep Momma B ok? Only Mama T sleep Momma B.” Angelica perfectly projected her position.
Bette watching this exchange between her four year old and her ex-lover sprang up in shock.
“I don’t want Jodi sleep with Momma B anymore.” Angelica declared emphatically, twisting to voice and sign to Jodi at the same time as Bette turned to end their ability to communicate. “Only Mama sleep with Momma Bumblebee and Angie.”
Angelicas voiced words shocking the group. Bette quickly handed Angelica to Tina so that she could face Jodi.

Hi Kelika, Great to have the gang all thogether. Jodi’s apology was well said. I think that she can see that Bette’s heart belongs to Tina and vice versa. These are two souls entwined. Brilliant and how cute was Angie. Perfect. Many thanks and more please. Your Loyal Fan.
This chapter was amazing! There is a part of me who hates Jodi but a part that feels for her. I really believe she loved Bette in her own way and doesn’t know what to do with all that emotion. This chapter was so perfect, I can’t wait to read more!

Someone should have just slapped Jodi and threw her out. she did not deserve for them to accept her apology and I for ne don’t believe it was heartfelt, the girl has no heart. Just my own opinion.Okay? You are doing fine with this story and I love it the second time around. PPS
I loved the update Kelika and agree in part with Dainty that Jodi doesn’t deserve absolution for what she did. Yes Bette hurt her (something that Jodi has also done to many a woman), but she did not try to publicly humiluate and distroy her personally and professionally. And this is something that Shane shouldn’t over look, having hurt a many heart in her past. I loved Kit’s reaction. PPS :o).

Loved this from the very beginning,hadn’t stopped yet. Shane and Kit are two wonderful people.They will fight for Bette in a minute and tell her if she is wrong. Jodie could learn a lot from everyone at that table.even Angie. thanks
