    Forever Friends Ch. 15

“Hey!  It is not my fault Harrison couldn’t pretend to be straight for a night.  I did well keeping my sexuality in the closet.”

Alice could not control her laugh.  Dana actually thought she fooled people into believing she was straight at the parties.  “Dana, honey.  You spent more time staring at women at the party than Harrison did staring at the men.  You were both horrible actors.  People never said anything because it was obvious you both were trying to cover your sexuality and no one wanted to “out” you before you were ready.”

“Whatever.  It doesn’t matter anymore because I am out of the closet and free to show my affection to anyone anywhere without wondering who might see me.”

Alice thought about what Dana said for a second before responding.  “Yeah.  But it’s always funny thinking about how goofy the two of you looked together at the parties.”  Alice began laughing again when Shane walked into the room.

“What are you laughing about now?”  Shane asked as she grabbed a chair and scooted over toward Dana and Alice.  “Hey Dane.”  Shane offered a smile and kiss on Dana’s cheek with her greeting.  “Uh oh…I know that look.  Alice are you making fun of Dana again?”

    “No.”

“Yes!”  Dana’s defensive reply quickly followed Alice’s denial.

“We were talking about the parties Dana attended with Harrison before she was out of the closet.”  Alice had stopped laughing even though she still smiled ear to ear.

    “Oh” was Shane’s simple reply.

Dana turned toward Shane with a questioning look on her face.  “What?”

“Nothing.  I remember those parties.”  Shane was trying to be polite but she wanted to start laughing like Alice.

“She actually thought they were a believable couple.”  Alice and Shane both began laughing at Alice’s comment.

“Screw both of you.”  Dana crossed her arms and pout.  She always hated when Shane and Alice would gang up to pick on her.

Seeing Dana’s pouting face Shane began to gain composer and speak.  “Dana, if people did really believe you and Harrison were a couple than they had to be wondering what you were doing wrong in the bedroom because everyone always saw Harrison flirt with every man who walked in the door.”

    1. I really appreciate all your hard work writing this wonderful story. So pleased to find D ready to leave the hospital. I hope D would open up somewhat to let A in on her feelings and also would allow her taking care of her at home with other professional help too. They would have to tackle so many issues and I hope that A and S would be there for D the entire way. Thank you.

    2. Thank you so much for your comments on my stories in your Author’s Notes. I love that amazing writers such as yourself find something you like in my story. This chapter was great.
