On the way over to the hotel, Dana turned to look at Alice and Alice asked her if she was ok. Dana questioned her if she was sure she wanted her to stay. How could she play down the excitement of having her at her house, so close? She said she was certain. Pulling up she told her to hurry getting her stuff because that woman maybe finishing work soon and be right over. Dana said she wouldn’t be long because she had not really unpacked so would throw her few bits of stuff in her case and get out. Alice wished her good luck.

When Dana returned to the car Alice asked if there was any sign of her, and Dana said no. The receptionist had asked her if everything was ok as she was leaving so early and Dana had said yes she had just decided to move in with a friend. It was a quiet drive to Alices` home, both girls revelling in each others company, both excited to be seeing more of each other.

Alice pulled up to the huge electronic gates and Dana said it was like Fort Knox to get in! Sadly, Alice had to say how they were a God send when the media came round to get her view on the newest scandal or upset in her life. Dana said she was sorry and patted Alices` thigh. Oh the shock waves that ran through Alice were amazing, never had she felt them so strong. She pulled up at the front and Dana got out and looked up to the front of the building.

Dana – “This is a great place Alice.”

Alice – “Thanks. Here let me get your case.”

Dana – “No you are ok, I will get that.”

Alice – “Ok I’ll take your laptop and shoulder bag then.”

Dana – “Thanks.”

They walked to the door and with Dana behind her in such close proximity and going into her home, Alice was shaking slightly and fumbled with the keys. Once in she told Dana to just pop the case down and she would show her round first.

They went straight into the lounge. It was spacious and light and there were intricate items that were so Alice. They went through the arch to the right and into the kitchen which was quite compact. Alice joked it didn’t matter too much as she wasn’t a very good cook. They then went down the corridor to the first room which was the one where Dana was staying. It was a tranquil room with a wonderful big window over looking the garden. Next they went into the visitors bathroom with a small tub and shower. The room on the other side was Alices` office. It so funky. It had a laptop on a glass table in the corner but most of the space was taken up with her guitar and sound system. Dana loved it, it was the side of Alice she had not yet seen. There was a gold disk on the wall for her last album, Dana was impressed. Dana asked for a song to which Alice said maybe later, as she was too shy to play in front of her.
