Bette moved so she could wrap her arms around the blonde. ‘’I sure do Ms Kennard’’

They finish up their drinks and head off to bed.

As planned they meet up with the gang on Sunday at the planet. Shane and Alice are a little worse for wear trying to re-hydrate their bodies and Tanya as always fussing over Dana, which Alice is trying to ignore.

‘’Hey you guy’s, how you been?’’ Shane asked as Bette and Tina with Angelica settle in their seats.

‘’Yeah good thanks, you two sure must have had a good night last night looking at the pair of you?’’ Bette Smiled as she leaned to Alice’s ear saying a little too loud for her.

‘’Bette, cut it out. I swear I am never ever drinking again.’’ Alice said squirming in her seat.

The whole table laughed at Alice’s statement

‘’So T, how’s work. Seen much of Helena lately?’’

‘’No should I Alice?’’

‘’I heard that she has set roots down here and you know that she bought Shoalin studio’s, apparently they are calling her lady slasher, she’s firing as fast as she’s hiring’’ Alice Quipped.

‘’I can think of better names for her’’ Bette mumbled but caught Tina’s stare.

‘’As I don’t work in the industry anymore Al, why would I know that?’’ Tina asked with curiosity.

‘’Dunno just thought you would.’’

‘’Well I don’t Alice, I have not seen her in weeks and just because she gave the centre that donation doesn’t mean that she has to have anything to do with centre does it and by the sounds of it she’s running the show single handed if she’s firing everyone.’’ Tina stated.

‘’Hey Dane, haven’t you got a big tournament coming up soon?’’ Bette asked trying to subside the growing tension between Alice and Tina.

‘’Not only that.’’ Tanya butts in ‘’But I’m planning the wedding, I’ve got several meetings lined up with lucrative magazines, I’m gonna be the first lesbian wife to hit the stands, isn’t that just great!!’’ She snorts.

The group just watches in disbelief as Tanya never even mentions Dana in the equation.

‘’I think you mean WE! Tanya.’’ Alice snaps

‘’What, of course I mean we.’’ Tanya turns and links hand with Dana calling her ‘’little munch kin’’ and Dana trying not to look uncomfortable. Bette and Tina quickly glance at each other rolling their eyes. Alice makes her excuses and leave for the bathroom quickly followed by Dana which doesn’t go un noticed by the Bette, Tina and Shane although it’s oblivious to Tanya who’s looking at wedding brochures.

Dana walks into the bathroom and sees Alice staring into the mirror, tears streaming down her face. Dana slowly walks up behind her and sighs.

‘’I’m sorry Al, I guess she’s just getting carried away everything and all.’’

‘’Please Dana don’t patronise me, I can’t believe that you sit there and listen to her crap, Have you not thought about what happened between us that night? Are you still going to marry her after I told you how I felt about you?’’

‘’You didn’t tell me Al, you came to my apartment told that I couldn’t marry her, then kissed me and walked off. Since then you’ve been avoiding me to talk about it.’’

They just stand there inches from each other.

‘’So what would you do if I kissed you again?’’ Alice motioned forward towards Dana, now their lips millimetres from each other.

‘’Why don’t you try it.’’ Dana whispered holding her breath

Alice moved and closed the gap between and gently kissed Dana, it started slow and gentle until they could no longer control the urge to touch each other. They kissed passionately as their hands roamed each other’s bodies.

‘’I need you Dane.’’ Alice breathed as they broke apart,’’ but you can’t have unless you are totally free from her.’’

‘’I need you too; just give me time ok and I promise that I will break it off. I just need time to consult with my lawyers.’’

‘’Wow look at you, thought you trusted the old gold digger.’’ Alice snickered.

‘’Al, please don’t. Let’s just say that my eyes have been open, but just didn’t want to admit it.’’

They kiss briefly until they were interrupted by the raising of voices coming from diner area.

They both walk out to see both Tina and Bette squaring up to two women who had their backs to them but could quite easily make out who they were.

‘’What the Fuck!!!’’ Alice gasped.
