“I will miss her though – she’s gone home to Carolina for a week, I was crying when she left yesterday, I dropped her at the airport.I know its silly but I got so used to us always being together..she’s like the sister I never had”

“What do you mean? Is Kayleigh living in LA”

“Oh yeah she’s my flatmate/babysitter friend all rolled into one!!. Kay moved here with me when I came back, she wanted to see life outside the confines of where we grew up”

“So that’s what Kit saw today?!!!…You and Kayleigh…ah it makes sense now” Bette smiled and was inwardly glad that she had not had a dalliance with Nadia”

The kiss for a few minutes softly caressing each others tongues, the kiss was tender, heartfelt and there lips lingered on each other for a few seconds before Bette broke away placing her hand on the blondes thigh “Why now though?…why did you decide to come back now?

“I wanted you back I wanted to be a family like we’d always planned! Is the straight-forward honest answer. I was flailing without…I had I had sorted my life out career wise, I was self reliant. I got the studio to transfer me here, I had saved a lot of money, and I invested some of it. I felt like I could hold my head up..I could stand on my own two feet for the first time since I gave up work to concentrate on having our baby….as I said to you the other night I kind of understand the affair a bit better…Not that I condone it, I would never have did that to you, but I get the numbness you described the wanting to feel something…shit I did the same as you when I used all those women.  Once I had Angelica and learned to be a mother, I got us both settled into a routine etc, everyone started to tell me I should start to date…But the only person I wanted was you…You know the rest… I fucked around with loads of girls but it didn’t make me happy, I wanted you!!,, I always felt like one half of a whole person.  I spoke to Dr Wilson in regards to my moving back here, and she mentioned you, I asked if you seemed happy, she told me you and your partner seemed to be doing well…God that shocked the hell out of me!., The doctor thought I was aware you had a new partner.  After hearing that I didn’t want to come back…I had no right to just drop this bombshell on you…But then I looked at Angie, and I knew she had a right to know you, and you her, I wanted us to experience her first Christmas..her first Birthday together, as a family..I didn’t want you to miss out on those milestones in our child’s life.  She’s 10 months old, She was born on Valentines day….” Tina laughed then

“She sure is ..It’s silly but I felt like I had received a gift from you last year when I had the baby on that day…I took comforting always knowing I’d have a part of you with me…as biologically she may not be yours…But mentally and morally she is in every sense your daughter Bette! can you deal with that?

Tears were streaming down the mocha’s face…she couldn’t take in all of Tina’s admission, she’d need to process it…but she had a child!…her and the love of her life had a daughter!

Bette was overwhelmed with happiness and emotion “You bet Tee!…and if you let me…I’ll be the best mom OUR Kid could wish for” Bette said smiling through the rush of tears

“OUR Kids called Angelica Katherine Jayde Porter Kennard”

“Really?” Bette said shocked but pleased

“Yep  I wanted to call her all our family’s names…But it would have been to long winded, that’s why I came up with “Jayde”

“I’m confused Tee”

“J.A.Y.D.E = Jenny Alice Yoda Dana Elizabeth” The blonde said proudly

“Woah!…wait till the girls find out..but Tina, seriously..Yoda?”

“Well I tried my hardest but I couldn’t do it any other way…anyway Shane will be please that even we refer to her as Yoda!!”

They both laughed, then Bette turned serious again, but had a goofy grin on her face

“My daughter Angelica Katherine Jayde Porter Kennard!…Wow!…I cant wait to meet her Tee!! She said excitedly, then her expression changed to worry as she said “Who’s she with tonight Tee since Kayleigh’s  out of town” already the brunette was going into Mama Bear Mode

“Oh she’s safe…she with her namesake… her Aunty Kit!” Tina laughed

“What!!…Tina I think you’ve a little more explaining to do? Said Bette
