"Oh, sorry, Tina. I totally forgot." Jenny pouts. Tina laughs.

They spent the rest of the afternoon catching up. Then decided on eating out. Jenny and Tina have known each other since back in the days when they were in North Carolina hustling in their play pens. Their moms are great friends, so it’s only fitting that their daughters would grow up to be best friends. Tina had moved to California five years ago, when Bank North Productions offered her a job and a salary that she could not resist. Now, the executive producer was living and loving the life that she wants. Soon after, Jenny was chasing her own dream to become a writer, and that lead her straight to LA. When Tina heard that Jenny was moving out here, she offered Jenny a room, and the rest was history. The two friends have been inseparable since.

The gang was waiting on their food. It’s been nearly an hour since they ordered. Alice was one foot out the door, already, when Bette convinced her to stay. Her reasoning was simple, the restaurant is the hottest right now, and people want in. So, it’s likely that their orders might be backed up.

Alice was amazed at how calmed and patient Bette was. "Wow, Porter. Usually, if the food isn’t in your face in 20 tops. You’d being making your way to the door, right now."

Bette chuckled. "Yeah, that’s true. But I made the reservation two weeks, ago. It’s really hard to get one. So, it’d be a waste if we just up and leave, now. And I hear the food’s really good. I want to try it. So, could we just wait a little bit longer."

"Okay, only because it’s your birthday, Porter! I’ll stay, and the food better be good!"

Dana laughs as she pinches Alice on her arm. "Alice! You ingrate! She’s paying, remember!"

Alice snorted. "Hee. Oh yeah. Well, then. Let’s wait. I have m&m in my purse. Anyone wants some while we wait?"

The three girls laughed at their spunky blonde. Then Shane spoke with a breath of coolness. "Actually, I’ll have some."

Bette realized it’s been a long wait, and she also knows that they were all very hungry before they even came here to Sadre’s. "Just ten more minute guys. If our food isn’t here then. I say we should grab McDonald’s instead." Bette suggested.

"Cool!" The girls replied. Truth is, they were starving, they didn’t care where they eat, the gang just wants food in their tummy. Bette then, excused herself to the restroom, hoping that when she returns, her food would be waiting for her, already.

Our hero doesn’t believe in love at first sight, but she’s a firm believer in lust at first glance. Bette’s heart skipped a beat when the stall door opened and out, walks this angelic face with a body to die for. "Oh, excuse me, miss. I didn’t know someone was in here."

Tina smiled. "That’s okay. I’m not in there, anymore."

They stared at each other in oblivion. Until our hero finally speaks,"Hi. Let’s go somewhere."

Tina giggled at Bette’s honestly. Truth is, Tina wouldn’t mind taking the sexy brunette somewhere, either."

"I like that."

"You like what?" Bette said with a devious smile, and finished her question. "To go somewhere with me?"

Tina again, indulged herself, in another giggle-fest. "No, I like your straightforwardness. That’s sexy."

"You’re sexy."

"Thank you. You’re not so bad yourself."

Bette finally broke away from the stare to extend her hand. "Hello Stranger. I’m Bette Porter." She smiled at the sexy blonde. "Oh" Tina exhaled. Bette noticed the changes in Tina’s demeanor when she said her name. Tina wasn’t smiling anymore. The sexy blonde played it cool, though. "Well hello to you, too, Stranger, My name is… " Tina took Bette’s hand and pulled our hero onto her slim body, and tippy toed up to Bette’s ear to whisper words that Bette has never encounter before. "Tina Kennard. Remember that name, because she’s the one that got away from you. She’s walking out on Bette Porter, and she’s not looking back." With that, Tina left our hero speechless in the empty stall.
