“There are hundreds of people coming in and out. How are they controlling it?”
“They’ve got security, plus a lot of these people are getting paid. It’s almost like a movie. The eye candy, other than you and Carmen are like extras, probably getting a normal extras pay.”
“Wait. You think of me as eye candy and there are people here getting paid to be here?”
“Yeah to both. You’re cute, Alice. She was cute and Shane knew she needed to hear it. Shane could see that Alice who was usually self-assured lacked confidence. “Everybody thinks so. And there are even celebrity types getting paid. If it’s a hot party, ET covers it, E Television, Access Hollywood, all of ‘em. What makes it hot are the stars? How do you get the stars out? Give ‘em money, give ‘em drugs, and give ‘em good music, whatever they might be looking for. It’s all here.”
“Wow. You’re serious, aren’t you?”
“Yeah. It’s a well-known secret. You and I might be the only people here not getting a paycheck.”
“There’s a story.”
“Here’s your room.”
Shane opened the door that Carmen had just departed and Alice walked in behind her.
“It’s cool, huh?”
“Yeah-ah. Totally. Great view. It looks like I can see all the way down to Torrance.” Alice put her mountainous plate of food on the dresser.
“Uh-huh. Right.”
Alice walked around the room. “Nice big bed. Beautiful furniture. I love this island style décor—shuttered closets, and this bed. God! And I love this steamer look for the dresser and night tables. Ooh, look, a gift basket.” Alice thumbed through the items. “Oysters, cheeses, water crackers, smoked salmon, crostini, a jar of eggplant caponata, a book, Asian pears, chocolate covered cherries, wine and sparkling cider, lemon cookies. Wow!” She turned to look at Shane. “It’s incredible.” Alice neared the bathroom and heard the shower going. “Hey, who’s in there?”
Shane looked at her watch. “Carmen. We’re in the room next door and the bathroom connects us. She always showers before she deejays. Relaxes her.”
“We have a connecting bathroom. Cool. Just like on The Brady Bunch. You and Carmen can be Greg, Chris, and Bobby and I’ll be Marcia, Jan, and Cindy.”

I’m really pleased to see a new chapter so soon. Excellent plan by Shane and Carmen to get Al and Dana back together. I have a good feeling that it’ll work. Dylan and Hels, what can I say? They’re hot. I dunno how they’re going to get rid of Danny completely, but I’d think besting him would be easy, because he’s a complete idiot. Can’t the Peabody billions just hire a couple of thugs to muscle his sorry behind out of LA? Bette and Tina: Eureka! I think Porter’s got it! I cannot *wait* for Nicastro, Colley, Marcos and any other hatahs to get put in their place. And last but not least, you actually made me like Henry. Maybe it’s Christmas cheer, maybe it’s that you gave him a heart. Either way, I’m very glad you posted, great chapter, and dare I ask that you post again soon? Why yes. Yes, I do. Shane covered her mouth with her hand to keep from laughing. When she was six or seven, she thought that the words lavatory and laboratory were the same words. Her father had caught her with a glass Pyrex dish and a steak knife in the bathroom on her knees, pulling her poop out of the toilet to begin some experiments in her laboratory. She recalled that her dad threw away the baking dish. – LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!! Nicastro has got to GO! At least Bette got the ok from Henry to see Tina and that Bette is working on a plan. Helena and Dylan was freakin’ HOT!!!!!!!

The day seemed to end too perfect for B&T what drama do you have planned next? I just want Tina to get better and get up out of that hospital real soon. Stephanie is going to get the help she needs in jail if she keep taking that man’s money. Thank you for another wonderful chapter.
