Dana felt a lot better after her shower. She had taken her time, hoping to wash away the heartache she felt. That hadn’t worked, but she felt like she might be able to manage being with others. She blow-dried her hair, put on just enough make-up to look healthy, but not available. There were two bottles of ‘Natural Tears’ drops in the medicine cabinet, along with other toiletries and some small brown prescription containers with no patient name. The tablets were clearly marked, though—Oxycontin, Ecstasy, and Mescaline. Dana cocked her head at the last container and thought, I thought Mescaline was salad. She also wondered if this was really the best place to be—what if there was a raid? She smelled pot when she walked in; she’d heard these parties passed drugs around like Tostito’s and salsa. That’s just the kind of publicity her career needed—‘Tennis star Dana Fairbanks was arrested this evening in a midnight raid of a Hollywood party.’ She decided that she’d stay for Carmen’s set and then leave. In Dana’s paranoid mind, statistically, the longer she stayed the greater risk for arrest. She slipped on a pair of pink panties and matching bra, a pair of red shorts and a pink Polo. After reviewing her outfit in the mirror, she bent down and pulled out a pair of tight-fitting jeans and an off-the shoulder peasant-style top. She didn’t want to look so much like a tennis player. In fact, she hoped no one would recognize her. She could see the gossip pages in Lesbian News and Curve now, ‘What famous tennis player was out partying hard and licking her wounds after a pathetic break-up from her bisexual, journalist girlfriend?’ Not that the papers and mags had ever written much about her other than when she came out, but there was always that first time. She’d rather they write about her wins on the court, not her nights of vicarious debauchery.
Dana checked herself in the mirror again, bent and shook out her hair, then stood up and flung it to give it a just fucked look. When she saw herself in the mirror, she became quite sad.
Alice was in the bedroom, opening and closing drawers and finding absolutely nothing interesting. She hoped that someone might have forgotten some little tidbit that could send her imagination sailing. She picked up her overnight bag and sauntered to the closet and pushed the door open like it was an accordion. Alice dropped the bag onto the floor and looked at the closet. The space was deceptively roomy. She was so depressed, she thought she might like to just crawl in there and sit in the dark corner and cry herself to sleep. She could easily do that, she thought as she moved deeper inside.

I’m really pleased to see a new chapter so soon. Excellent plan by Shane and Carmen to get Al and Dana back together. I have a good feeling that it’ll work. Dylan and Hels, what can I say? They’re hot. I dunno how they’re going to get rid of Danny completely, but I’d think besting him would be easy, because he’s a complete idiot. Can’t the Peabody billions just hire a couple of thugs to muscle his sorry behind out of LA? Bette and Tina: Eureka! I think Porter’s got it! I cannot *wait* for Nicastro, Colley, Marcos and any other hatahs to get put in their place. And last but not least, you actually made me like Henry. Maybe it’s Christmas cheer, maybe it’s that you gave him a heart. Either way, I’m very glad you posted, great chapter, and dare I ask that you post again soon? Why yes. Yes, I do. Shane covered her mouth with her hand to keep from laughing. When she was six or seven, she thought that the words lavatory and laboratory were the same words. Her father had caught her with a glass Pyrex dish and a steak knife in the bathroom on her knees, pulling her poop out of the toilet to begin some experiments in her laboratory. She recalled that her dad threw away the baking dish. – LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!! Nicastro has got to GO! At least Bette got the ok from Henry to see Tina and that Bette is working on a plan. Helena and Dylan was freakin’ HOT!!!!!!!

The day seemed to end too perfect for B&T what drama do you have planned next? I just want Tina to get better and get up out of that hospital real soon. Stephanie is going to get the help she needs in jail if she keep taking that man’s money. Thank you for another wonderful chapter.
