    Takes place after Tina gives Birth to Angelica… — The story is told by Angelica Kenter….

     

                “I’m Dr. Sabrina Stevens and I’m Tina’s intern, we are assigned…,” began Sabrina, already sizing up Eliza and she was rather sure she didn’t like what she was seeing.

     

                “Fine.  How do you know about the baby?” she shot back before Sabrina was able to finish her sentence.  Bette rolled her eyes, trying to fight the urge to say something nasty to this woman.  Bette was already on edge, she was tired and cranky, and here was a stranger, asking one too many questions, and being rude to a very sweet doctor.

     

                “Eliza…,” pleaded Bette.

     

                Sabrina let the smile fade slowly from her lips.  Her face changed from the sweet innocent intern, to a seasoned Doctor, which she wasn’t, at least not yet.  Her eyes grew cold and she pushed her hands deep into the pockets of the lab coat that she was wearing.  Bette marveled at the subtle change in Sabrina’s demeanor.

     

                “Mrs. Kennard?  I make it a policy to know everything about my patient. The fact is, she’s in a post birth coma, her baby’s name is Angelica, and Tina likes hot chocolate sauce on her vanilla ice cream.  It is all part of my job, and I take my job very seriously,” said Sabrina, with such conviction that Bette too took a step back.

     

                “Well then,” said Eliza, giving the baby back to Bette, who was motioning for her.  “I have to go to the hotel, I’ll be back later,” she announced. 

     

                Bette watched her leave, and Sabrina checked the chart, wondering how long it would take for THAT to get back to her attending.  The woman deserved it, she was being a haughty pain in the ass, and Sabrina had just called her on it.

     

                “How did you know about the hot chocolate sauce?” asked Bette with awe stuck eyes. Sabrina looked up at her with a blank face, her sun streaked brown hair cascading down over her shoulders, her dark eyes meeting Bette’s.

     

                “I was guessing,” said Sabrina in a deadpan tone, and Bette tossed her head back and laughed for the first time in days.

    2. This story is brilliant! I love the spin of it being told in interludes through Angelica. I so am going to find more of it and if you haven’t got anymore I am going to be waiting oh so impatiently for the next chapter(s).

    3. Hello tjr, that was awesome… yes sometimes the things we want and need in life we have to work hard for. You really are going to make this family work hard for everything. Hmmmm a spy in the midst for Helena… I’m guessing that whole reconciliation thing between Bette and Tina is going to be even more awkward then having just Henry enter the scenario. With Helena… Tina will be very conflicted seeing as though she was the one there for almost the whole pregnancy and so forth… hmmmm… this has so many potentials to drive the sheep crazy… opps did I say sheep wink wink(I’m a TiBetter when it comes to the show but I love this kind of crazy drama) I cannot wait for you to bring it on… cause its ON… Sincerely, JC (oh by the way I got my book… and its beautiful… I’m working out a review for your page :P… and I’m reading that other story you mentioned and will be getting back to you on that… and well I have an Idea involving L and Witchblade… hmmm something about Detective Porter… with a super enhanced magical gauntlet that just sends me into a tizzy… well I’ve bored you enough… talk to you soon)

    5. Love angie being the narrator… of there is gonna be drama and lots of it! i expect nothing less, hehe..okay gonna fasten my selt belt cuz this is gonna be a wild ride…. :)

    7. Liking the story so far, it’s well written. What I don’t understand is why Tina is A.J’s birth mom, or just Mom and Bette is Bette and not Momma or something which makes it seem like Bette is not her other parent.
