Let It Happen – Chapter VI
“Wow, I thought you’d be way more excited than that!,” Aaron said, in slight disbelief.
“Everything alright over there? Or are you all worn out from the hot sex?,” he asked teasingly.
Normally, Tina would have flushed at the question. This was not a normal time, though.
“Anyway, could you just stay back then, out there in Paris? I know you were supposed to fly back today, but Kate will be flying out there later this morning, LA time, and should arrive there by late tomorrow your time,” Aaron was on a roll, giving details about what was going to happen next.
“Look Aaron, can you please just email me everything that you said, and fill me in on details? And yeah, I guess I must just be worn out or something. But thanks for calling with the good news. I’ll meet up with Kate when she gets in,” Tina hung up before Aaron could respond.
The man returned, and folded his arms. He had caught the tail-end of Tina’s conversation. “Good news, huh?”
Tina looked back at him, remained silent.
“Well… we’re really sorry about bothering you this morning,” he signaled to the two others. They headed toward the door of the suite without another word.
Tina walked quickly to tap the man of the front desk, who was trailing behind the men.
“Umm… I need to ask you something about the breakfast trolley that was sent up this morning,” she said, thinking quickly. The man said, “but of course mademoiselle.”
The three men continued to walk out the door, which shut softly behind them.
The man of the front desk put a finger on his lips, signaling to Tina to keep silent. They both heard the ping of the elevator and waited a few more seconds.
Tina couldn’t hold back any longer.
“Do you know what the hell is going on?”
“Mademoiselle, she gave me a note that I was then told to burn. There were instructions for you to check your jacket, and about the room. Nothing else.”
Tina began to cry. Her anxieties about Bette, the tension from the strange visit of the three men, and now the lack of any information at all were unbearable. What in the world was happening?

Hi!
I want you ask something – how many comments have you got on “old” site in the chapter when Tina confessed Bette that she cheated on her? How bad where they?
Don’t remember how many, but most of the comments (if not all) indicated people “felt” Bette’s pain.
Deleted previous comment – i was wrong with timing of Tina’s cheating. Yeah it was after DС, when they were in NY already. And therefore of course it as cheating
… and now you add mystery and suspense to the romance ; this marvellous story keeps me captivated and totally holds spellbound !
It’s official – I’m addicted. Period.
And so happy to be !! ;-)
As you might have guessed, I’m responding to you in reverse order (!) to your posts. Thanks for reading through the chapters :-). Glad you are hooked!
