Life with Mom and Tina Ch 110

"Your parents know about this?" Cat asked.

"They know that Shane brought me home, but not the condition that I was in. Marty is what Grandmother calls the enforcer. Where I go she goes. Most of the time. Back to the story. My father traveled in very famous circles and when I was with him so did I. I will never forget the last visit I spent with him in New York. He was dating Madonna. The relationship was brief and secretive. We went to this party at some club I don’t remember what it was. There were drugs and sex and everything you can imagine going on at this party. I was there of course with my Aunt Alyssa who was watching me. She argued with him to leave us at the house, but he said that he didn’t get to see me much and that he was going to spend every minute he could with me. Now granted his intentions were misguided they were honest. He just didn’t think sometimes. I wanted to go with him. The parties were fun. I was the center of attention. What kid wouldn’t enjoy that. I didn’t see or understand everything that was going on. I was just 7. My mom would have killed him if she knew." Jess explained while showing Cat pictures.

"I don’t understand. What does that have to do with what is going on now?" Cat asked laying a picture down of Jess standing on a bar next to a coke line.

"My father kept this journals, very detailed journals." Jess said.

"I still don’t get it." Cat said.

Marty walked up with another copy of the book and laid it on the table.

"Can you imagine a book with all the dirty little secrets of A list celebrities dating back to the eighties? Well this is it." Jess said.

"Artist or Playboy? An expose of Dirty Little Secrets." Cat said looking at the book.

"A reporter who was doing a biography on my dad discovered his journals some where and turned a respectable biography into this. The good thing is that is got it right. The bad thing is that he got it all." Jess said.

    1. Well I am glad he wasn’t in the mob…how did that reporter get his journals? Seems like “the family” is very controlling. Will you let us know WHY grandfather had to get rid of his money before he got sick? I hope Jess dosen’t get the backlash for that book, she was an innocent child when this all took place. Everybody was doing everything back then it shouldn’t be too much of a shock for Hollywood. I think Bette & Tina should have went to NY but then again Jess is not a kid anymore. Please post soon.

    2. I am also glad that it wasn’t the mob or worse. I still feel that Jess should have told Shannon or tell her before it all becomes public. She is her sister and someone that she can confide in. The press will also hound Shannon and she should not be treated like an outsider. Jess needs all the support that she can get, even though she is no longer a kid she is still has insecurities and need the support of them standing firmly behind her. Wheather the interview goes good or bad, she needs her family standing behind her. Maybe they could fly to NY and meet her at the apartment. Has Shannon ever seen the apartment, or has a sense of who Andy was?
