“I won’t and I love you too.” Jess said running to the bus. Bette and Tina watched as the bus pulled away.

“I don’t know what I am going to do I have never bee away for her longer than 4 weeks.” Bette said.

“We will get by, and Lilly said we could call her cell and talk to Jess any time we wanted.” Tina said.

CAMP

The buses pulled up at the camp.

“Okay girls. When you get off the bus go to the pavilion and wait for my self and Lilly to get there. Don’t worry about your stuff it will be unloaded and put into a pile.” Coach Holly said. The girls filed off the bus. Jess, Kelly, Carla, and Maggie stuck close together. They sat in the pavilion. Holly and Lilly walked in. The girls got quiet.

“Okay this year the Varsity and JV teams are staying in the same cabin. That means we got the big nice cabin. Cabin 2″ Holly said. The girls cheered.

“We have taken the liberty of labeling your bunks. Your names are written on the foot of the bed you have been assigned to.” Lilly said.

“And no switching bunks.” Holly said “Okay go get settled in. The girls quickly filed at of the pavilion and towards the cabin.

Cabin 2

The cabin was busy with girls unpacking, hanging up pictures and talking about their plans for the summer. All the JV girls were on the top bunks and the Varsity on the bottom. Jess and Megan were in the back right corner next to the door that led to the coach’s room. Kelly and Gloria were next to them and Maggie and Carla were on left side opposite Kelly.

“What are we supposed to do after we are done unpacking?” Jess asked.

“I don’t know. This is my first time here to remember.” Megan said. Kelly climbed up on Jess’s bed.

“We have free time until 4 when we have camp orientation.” Gloria said.

“Okay. What is camp orientation?” Kelly asked.

“Its the only time that all the campers are together at the same time and the camp director introduces the staff and tells everyone the camp rules.” Gloria said.
