    Author Notes:

    Bette leaves for an Art Conference in Germany. Tina stays home with the kids.

    "Hello."

    "Hey sweet heart. How are you? Feeling better I hope." Bette answered.

    "Not really. Are you okay?" Jess asked.

    "I am perfectly fine. I thought you were going to try not to worry so much."

    "I am trying but it isn’t working."

    "I am fine and everything is going well over here. I am perfectly safe. Nothing is going to happen to me." Bette was trying to console Jess because she knew how she could get she had this feelings.

    "Okay."

    "Is Mama there?"

    "Yeah she is right here."

    "Jess. I love you and try not worry and have some fun while I’m not there." Bette said. She knew that Tina let Jess get away with way more than she did.

    "Okay I will. I love you too." Jess said laughing for the first time in two days. She handed the phone to Tina and went upstairs.

    "Hey babe." Tina said.

    "I miss you."

    "I miss you too."

    "How are you and the kids?"

    "Everyone is fine. They are all asleep. They wore me out tonight. I don’t know how I am going to make it the rest of the week."

    "awww. You will be fine. Just don’t let Ian and Teddy get the upper hand and you will survive."

    "I know but when they double team you it’s exhausting."

    "I know."

    "So what have been doing? What’s the conference like?"

    "Its amazing there are so many excellent artist here. I think of buying some pieces."

    "Okay but nothing to extravagant for the house."

    "I won’t, I found this amazing piece that I want to get Jess for graduation. I think she will love it. I emailed you a picture of it about an hour ago."

    "Okay I will take a look at it in the morning." Tina answered.

    "Give the kids a kiss for me. And keep an eye on Jess."

    "I will. I love you."

    "I love you too. I wish you could have come with me."

    "I know we will have to get away for a weekend when you get home."

    "I can’t wait."

    8. Oh god, I knew that was going to happen. When Jess kept feeling something bad was going to happen and she could not shake it then I knew that it was going to happen. The phone is ringing hopefully someone will answer it and then Jess can help the rescue effort by the signal from the phones. Please let Bette be okay so that she can be with her family. Jess, Tina and boys need her so much. This is a very scary chapter and I hope that you can post soon.

    10. Please don’t let anything happen to Bette. This family has been through enough already. Jess has already lost her father, not Bette too, please. Tina and Jess need her the most and NayNay has not had enough time with her mother. Pretty please. Okay, I know it is your story but please keep Bette safe. Thanks for a wonderful story.

    17. Oh come on now, don’t break up this happy family. They have already been through and survived so much. Jess is just getting a hold of her sepration anziety. This could really put her into the drink, (Bette was reshing home to see her play)let alone what it would do to Tina and the rest of the family if Bette goes missing or doesn’t servive. Please make things right.
