Jess and Laurie decided that they would both sleep better if they were together. Between the upcoming game and her bad feeling Jess hadn’t been sleeping very well. They walked in the house hand and hand. Jess carried Laurie’s overnight bag and school uniform. They joined the game until Bette called.
"Sissy Aunt Kit taught me how to make her cookies." Ian said from the kitchen counter.
"Oh yeah listen real well so you can tell me." Jess said knowing that Kit’s recipe was a secret and she was only going to tell one of them.
"No way its a secret." He said.
"Okay then. I will be right back I am going to take this upstairs." Jess said and left Laurie side. Al followed her upstairs.
"Hey kiddo where have you been lately." She asked.
"Around I guess I have been busy with school and UCLA games." Jess answered.
"You missed dinner with us last night. What happened?" Alice asked.
"Sorry. I forgot I have had a lot on my mind lately." Jess said.
"Wanna talk about it?" Alice asked sitting on Jess’s comfy chair.
"Not really." Jess said. She hung Laurie’s uniform in the closet.
"Maybe I can help." Alice said.
"I don’t know I guess its nothing but I just have this horrible feeling that something bad is going to happen, and normally I wouldn’t worry about it so much but I just can’t seem to shake it." Jess said leaning against the closet.
"I know the feeling." She answered.
"I know and every time you have a bad feeling about something you freak out." Jess said.
"Stop it. I do not." Alice said.
"Oh yeah. How about at Christmas you got a bad feeling that your mother was going to pop in and want to spend the holiday with you and Lilly. You made her stay here with you and hide until the feeling went away. Oh and you jumped every time the phone rang for fear that it was here." Jess said.
"That was one time." Jess looked at Alice like yeah right. "Okay so maybe I freak a little but I always get through it and what is it that you always say. There can never be a bad with out a good."

Oh god, I knew that was going to happen. When Jess kept feeling something bad was going to happen and she could not shake it then I knew that it was going to happen. The phone is ringing hopefully someone will answer it and then Jess can help the rescue effort by the signal from the phones. Please let Bette be okay so that she can be with her family. Jess, Tina and boys need her so much. This is a very scary chapter and I hope that you can post soon.

Please don’t let anything happen to Bette. This family has been through enough already. Jess has already lost her father, not Bette too, please. Tina and Jess need her the most and NayNay has not had enough time with her mother. Pretty please. Okay, I know it is your story but please keep Bette safe. Thanks for a wonderful story.

Oh come on now, don’t break up this happy family. They have already been through and survived so much. Jess is just getting a hold of her sepration anziety. This could really put her into the drink, (Bette was reshing home to see her play)let alone what it would do to Tina and the rest of the family if Bette goes missing or doesn’t servive. Please make things right.
