"Hey!" Alice shouted. "Where is my Earth Daughter? You didn’t leave her in…"

Bette responded before Alice could finish her sentence. "No, she’s with Kit. I think Kit took her to Disneyland for the weekend so Tina and I can do some…." Bette looked at Tina unsure of how to vague convey to their friends that they were going to be looking into their old house and do some networking.

"Pre-planning," Tina said, finishing Bette’s sentence.

"Thank you," Bette mouthed to Tina without letting their friends notice the exchange.

"Pre-planning? For what?" Alice questioned.

"Al, its none of your business. If they wanted to tell us, they would have by now," Tasha scolded.

"Yea, al, let’s just enjoy the fact that our friends are here with us now," Shane commented.

Alice rolled her eyes and slumped back into her chair.

"So how long are you in for? Where are you staying?" Helena asked as she sipped the last bit of her coffee.

"We are here for three weeks," Tina replied. "I have some time before the next movie starts production and Angie got out of school last week."

The conversation continued well into late morning. After Tasha, Max, Tom and Rose left, Bette knew she had to ask one huge question.

"So, when did Tom come back?"

"Um, after Rose was born," Alice answered. "Yea, he um, he heard that the baby was born somehow and he just came into the planet one day. He’s been here about 6 months."

"Is Jodi here?" Bette asked bluntly.

"Na, Bette, Jodi’s still in New York." Shane confirmed.

"Bette?" Tina asked curiously.

"I just don’t want to run into her," Bette assured.

After their lovely time at the Planet, mingling with their friends that were more like family, Tina and Bette drove to their old house in their old neighborhood. Up until recently, Tina forgot that they never did sell the house, and Bette had deferred the loan due to her impeccable credit which allowed them one year to figure out what they were doing with it.

They both walked up the stairs to the familiar two story home. Bette took out the key from her purse and let them inside.  The empty house was so bare without any of their possessions filling the void space.  Tina walked into the kitchen and pulled herself up onto the counter and let her legs dangle over the edge.

"You know, even though it’s so bare in here…it still feels like home," She admitted.

Bette strode into the kitchen and stood in front of her. Tina brushed away the dark curls that shaped the goddess’s face. Tina meshed their lips together and licked Bette’s lip looking for a way in. Bette parted her lips and accepted Tina’s eager tongue and allowed her own tongue to dance with her angel’s.

Tina slowed the kiss, bringing them to quick, light kisses. "I thought New York was going to be this fresh, new start for us, but after being there for 7 months all I can think about is this…right here," Tina tapped the counter space beside her. "It doesn’t feel like home in New York. As much as Alice drives me nuts, our family is here Bette. As much as I hate Hollywood and as much as I love my job in New York, I miss our family."
