    Neighbors–Ch. 1

The brunette was pulling Shane away towards the backdoor but was having a hard time of it because Shane didn’t want to leave. The cops were closing in on Dean and the other guys cutting him off from his escape Dean gave Shane a look telling her to take off. She was trying to shrug the girl off of her but the girl still managed to pull her outside. The cops cuffs on the four guys and took them outside to get their information. The sat Dean in one of the squad cars and sat the other three guys on the curb. Dean could see Shane standing at the edge of the parking lot he could see that she was afraid and that she didn’t know what to do. The cops were getting everyone’s story straight but the story they were getting from the witnesses all put Dean in a positive light.

‘The three guys were picking a fight with a girl and the cute guy came over to defend her…’

‘The guy was pissed because his girlfriend was talking to someone else and he got his idiot friends to help him…the guy sitting in your car didn’t start it he was trying to defend the other girl from getting beat up…those three jerks on the curb should be going to jail.’

After several more witnesses were interviewed the cop came back over to Dean. He bent down to talk to him. “I know you didn’t start this and everyone here said you were just defending someone who was outnumbered three to one but I can’t just let you go. You got into a fight at the bar and you’re under age. Your breathalyzer results aren’t far from normal so I’m going to ignore the alcohol smell on you as far as I know someone could have spilled some alcohol on you during the fight. The bartender is pressing charges against those three on the curb but he’s not holding you responsible…”

Dean was started to think that he was going to be in the clear when the cop started uncuffing him.

“…normally I’d have to process you and then I’d let you go but you’re underage so once we get to the station I’m going to have to notify your parents and release you to their custody.”

    1. You are fast becoming one of my favoritest (I know not a word, but it fits) authors. I do hope that you will continue with this story along with your other one. Good luck in school and have fun.

    2. Different twist on things, but knowing you were going to love it. Now for Tina and Bette to meet. Bette has a daughter, no mention of husband, or Tina. I know you’ll fill us in as we go along.

    3. Hey buddy! i had seen this new story of yours but didn’t have time to read it at the time and then I just forgot, sorry! But now I caught up with the first chap and am off reading the second one… It’s awesome! i love this start. Of course I totally think of Dean as a grown up Eli and it’s just fantastic to see what a wonderful young man he’s become (and still this great bond with Tina). And you think of it that way too, huh? You actually wrote Eli instead of Dean on the last page… Cute! I love the idea of a new beginning for B&T. But I’m wondering if you’re planning a love story or a brother/sister bond between Dean and Claire… We’ll see! But i love it, please continue! My only reserve is that it doesn’t take you away from Eli’s story… Thanks!
