    Alice put her arm around Dana. “Well I’m willing to bet money that it had something to do with Shane.”

     

     

    Claire was looking at Harrison. “Who’s Shane?”

     

     

    Harrison smiled. “Shane’s like a lesbian Cassanova she’s also Dean’s best friend.”

     

     

    Alice smirked. “That girl has serious game she has her own set of groupies…”

     

     

    Dana nodded. “She has a way with people…she’s really cool but…”

     

     

    Alice piped in again. “…she’s kind of a loner like Dean. They’re popular but they’re more the stoic type of cool. Anyway I heard that Shane’s been hitting the bar scene and supposedly she gets mad tail but she’s bound to run into an angry boyfriend or two…”

     

     

    Harrison cut in. “…and Dean the soft spoken brooding hottie that he is stepped in and put those guys in their place.”

     

     

    Alice nodded knowingly. “I bet that’s what happened.”

     

     

    Claire laughed and turned to Dana. “Are they always like this?”

     

     

    Dana sighed. “I’m afraid so but you’ll get used to us plus they can come in handy you get to hear all the school gossip before it hits the rest of the school.”

     

     

    Harrison and Alice put their attention back on Claire. “Claire you told us he’s your new neighbor but you didn’t share how you two ended up on a first name basis.”

     

     

    They all turned to Claire clearly wanting to hear her answer but before Claire could say anything the bell rang.

     

     

    Harrison and Alice had their next class together and Claire and Dana had to go to their class.

     

     

    Alice turned back to Claire. “You better fill us in during lunch…” she then turned to Dana. “…and no finding out before the rest of the group Dana.”

     

     

    Dana rolled her eyes. “It’s not like we can talk anyways Mr. Pearson would give us detention if we even think about talking.”

     

     

    Alice turned to Claire. “I want all the juicy details Porter.”

     

     

    Claire started laughing when Harrison started to pull Alice away. Maybe moving to LA wasn’t going to be that bad after all.

    1. We need more. Its great how you brought all our favorite characters in to play, but most of them are teenagers. Dean will definitly be the defender, and will end up with Claire, cos even though no one knows it yet they’re mother’s are destined to be together. Can’t wait for them to meet.

    5. Loved all the new (old) characters of this story. I can’t wait for Dean to meet Bette or for that matter all the gang to meet Bette. Then “drum roll” for Bette and Tina to meet.

I like that you have Harrison included in the group. I always thought he was humorous. he and Alice play off each other well. great job. PPS
