    “You already do “ Bette replied “The two of you have really snapped me out of my introspection “

     

    “Nothing like a demanding, inquisitive chatterbox 4 year old for that “

     

    Tina agreed putting her feet up and moving closer to Bette so she could hold her lover. Bette put her arm around her and they both made themselves more comfortable.

     

    “She just blows me away – she’s so into everything “

     

    “You should have seen her when she was a baby – the minute she started to crawl she became an Olympic champion at it . I couldn’t leave the patio doors open in case she got outside and fell into the pool “

     

    Bette laughed “That I can imagine – maybe over Christmas we can look at some pictures of her “

    “You sure ?”

    “Just a few to see how I feel “

    “Anytime you feel uncomfortable – that’s the last thing I want . Lets make new memories Bette – there have been so many moments in New York already that are so precious to me – like the dinosaur museum and the helicopter ride and the times we have all been running around the Park. She’s changed even in the nearly two months that we have been here “

    “I see that – I just put it down to her getting comfortable with me and the whole city “

    “She was comfortable with you from minute one day one. No one will ever be able to convince me that there wasn’t some instinct at work there. The two of you just clicked – I know I go on and on about it but I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes “

     

    Bette beamed – she couldn’t hear that often enough

     

    “I fell for her straight away “

     

    “And you will see when we go back to LA that she isn’t as tactile with the others as she is with you. Shane apart she’s reserved “

    Bette grinned “My daughter has fabulous taste “

    “She does – I just hope she makes friends when she starts school “

It shows the forgiveness that has to exist between to people that have been in turmoil and then decide enough is enough, and let their love shine through. I am so happy for Angie and Bette, they do so deserve to be known as mother and daughter. Wonderful chapter. Thanks for posting.

    16. Can’t stop re reading it. I have been waiting for this for so long. Now It makes me emotional. So well written, so full of love, I was crying with them too lol. incredible. I can’t say this is my favorite as all your stories are. But this story came at a point where I couldn’t stop myself missing it. You know what I think anyway but your stories are so full of HOPE and positivity that they make me belive in me and people. Thank you my hero. PPVS
