    The ones where Tina tells Bette and Angie the truth

     

    Angie was lying snuggled up to Bette as they watched the TV – that was another dream come true – Tina looked at the scene for over ten minutes until she made her mind up that it was time to make an announcement to both her girls. She went into their bedroom and looked through her strong box. When she emerged Angie was standing looking at the snow – Bette was raiding the grapes on the coffee table

     

    “Can you two come here for five minutes “

     

    Angie turned and walked back to the sofa.

     

    “Okay both of you sit down and hear me out “

     

    “Think we are in trouble Angie ?” Bette whispered loudly to Angie who giggled

     

    “You will be in a minute “

     

    “Sorry Tina “ Bette said pulling a face – Angie giggled again

     

    “Just behave “ Tina said taking the remote control and silencing the TV

    “Okay – do you know what this is ?”

     

    Tina produced a piece of paper and put it on the coffee table. Bette didn’t speak – Angie got up and looked at the paper – she tried to say the words a couple of times but she shook her head

     

    “This is your birth certificate – everyone has to register a child’s birth when they are a few

    weeks old. Its so the Government know you exist and they can give you a medical card and make sure that you go to school “

     

    Angie nodded and looked closer at it

     

    Tina moved closer to her daughter and pointed out

     

    “Look -there is your name – Angelica “

     

    Angie nodded and looked at her mother with her dark eyes – Bette was sitting too far away for Tina to assess her expression.

     

    “Now when you are born I had to say who your two parents were – sometimes people only put down the birth mother if they do not know who the daddy is “

     

    Angie was looking at the certificate

     

    “Can you see my name ?”

     

    “Yeah – TINA “

     

    “That’s right – can you read what that name is ?” Tina pointed to the second parent column. Angie looked at it closely and looked back at her mother

It shows the forgiveness that has to exist between to people that have been in turmoil and then decide enough is enough, and let their love shine through.     16. Can’t stop re reading it. I have been waiting for this for so long. Now It makes me emotional. So well written, so full of love, I was crying with them too lol. incredible. I can’t say this is my favorite as all your stories are. But this story came at a point where I couldn’t stop myself missing it. You know what I think anyway but your stories are so full of HOPE and positivity that they make me belive in me and people. Thank you my hero. PPVS
