Out of Closet (B&T time-travel romance), Ch. 42
Chapter 42: Love is love (Bette and Tina in Boston…Tina learns something important from grandma)

(Previously) “I thought so,” Tina laughed, resuming her activities under the blanket. Bette bit her bottom lip to prevent herself from moaning loudly. She leaned her forehead and rested it on Tina’s shoulder, still shaking a little after their little love interlude in the air.

“Thanks, baby…you are amazing,” she whispered and kissed Tina again. “Do you want me to show you why I don’t want to go to jail for the same crime?”

Tina chuckled, “It’s okay, honey…as much as I want you right this minute, we are almost in Boston. I want to take it slow. I hope Julie has soundproof walls, because this prisoner,” she pointed at herself, “just got a ‘get out of jail free’ card and she is going to use it because she’s really horny.”

Bette smiled and whispered to Tina, “I love you so much…you are my one and only…jail-bird.”

They both laughed and held their hands, content with the situation, while the captain announced their descent into the Boston International Airport.

Place: Boston, MA – Julie’s house
    Year: Dec. 30, 2005 – Friday

Since their landing Bette was in a much better mood than before. She was smiling non-stop all the way from the airport to Julie’s house.

“Look who’s not nervous anymore,” Tina teased her, smiling to herself.

“Well, I took my first plane ride and we didn’t crash…I had my first airborne lovemaking experience and it felt great…I’m going to meet your family for the first time and I feel honored…you’re smiling…life is good…I’m happy,” Bette replied, “Why are you smiling?”

Tina laughed, “Because your smile is contagious, babe. And since you’re happy, I’m happy. And I really have missed my grandma and Julie. I hope we’ll have a wonderful visit.”

“I hope so, Tee…I hope,” Bette said reassuringly, taking Tina’s hand and stroking it gently.

Julie was waiting for them outside and seeing her sister for the first time in almost four years made Tina realize how much she really missed her family. She ran to Julie and they hugged for a long time. The driver brought their suitcases to the front door. Bette paid him and then waited for Tina and Julie to notice her.

    1. OOOOOOH NOOOOO!!!! isn’t this where the story went into hiatus? I have been so excited that I was now going to find out what happened. Now I am having an anxiety attack. Hyperventilating. Wringing my hands.Heart palpitations even. Sigh. I’m going to have to find some of Tina’s Xanax. I just hope that Tina left enough. So, despite my selfish whiny stress, I hope you have a great time at L6.

    2. O.K. B&TF we can live with a little delay considering that you are at the conference, but remember your promise to finish it this time. Wonderful update. I love the fact that Steve was the non homophobic one…priceless!

    3. Great chapter. Wonder what happened to the trunk and its’ contents? Gonna have to go back and read from the beginning cause this chapter really caught my attention. Have read here and there but didn’t get into it, now I am. Must read up on everything. Have a great time at L6.
