“TK, you’re renting an apartment? Why don’t you just move into Bette’s guestroom?” Alice asks.
“That would be cheaper, but it would be way too soon. We both need distance while also needing closeness. If you know what I mean?” Tina asks.
“I do.” Alice replies. “I really hope this works out Tina. Bette wouldn’t last if this too fails.” Alice says.
“I know Alice, I know. I’m not going to hurt her again.” Tina says and smiles at Alice.
“Good.” Alice replies.
A week later, Bette is picking up Angelica at day care. Bette had called Tina two days earlier and asked her to dinner at her house. Tina off course said yes. Bette decided to call for take out.
Tina had moved out the previous day. Martin had helped her, along with Alice. Bette had taken Angelica so she wouldn’t be in the way of the moving.
“Mama, Pete is having a birthday party tomorrow, can I go?” Angelica asks as Bette lifts her up. She kisses her cheek.
“Give me a kiss.” Bette says and Angelica gives Bette a kiss on the cheek as well. Hailey, another of the workers walks over with the bag.
“Hey, the invitation is in her bag. Pete’s mom brought them this morning. It’s on Thursday at noon.” Hailey says.
“Okay. Thank you.” Bette says and smiles. “By the way, Angelica will not be in tomorrow, I have the day off, thought I’d spend it with her.” Bette says.
“Yeay.” Angelica replies, which makes both Bette and Hailey to laugh.
“Okay, I’ll write it down in the book for tomorrow.” Hailey says.
“Thanks. Say bye Angel.” Bette says.
“Bye, Haly” Angelica says and waves.
“Bye Angelica.” Hailey says and waves back.
They leave and drives straight home. Once there Bette begins to clean a little before Tina will be there in half an hour or so.
“Mommy coming?” Angelica asks.
“Yes, she is, so we have to clean a little, make it nice for mommy.” Bette says as she carries a glass and a plate from the living room table to the kitchen and into the dishwasher. After a little while they’re finished. Angelica helped a little too.
“Come on sweetie, let’s change out of our work clothes huh?” Bette says and walks towards the guestroom.

Hey can we all get Tank tops with mama, mommy and Angel on? I’m not sure about the 2 apartments in London sounds like a big waste of money and time when they’re going to be sharing the same bed!!!!as we all know!!! and how long b4 Bette goes to London, I forgot???? Let them make it please…PPS
bette can get a duplex and with all the money bette is getting she might afford anything..as long as tina is coming there and they start dating to be a family again
Do they have duplexes in London? that is a great ideal. Let Tina do her thing for a while she will get tired of it and will move in thanks
Awww Angelica is such a dollbaby. That’s cool that Tina is going to London. I wonder how many nights apart she and Bette will spend before they end up in the same place all the time?
It is so nice that they are going to be at least in the same country and not thousands of miles away from each other. Two seperate apartments makes sense. Maybe now they can get their act together and become a couple again.
Fun story. Sleepovers are great as long as they lead to a sincere committment.
Smart plan, there are still unresolved issues that need to be discussed.

Bette will be making enough money to rent a freakin castle over there and can live in the east wing and Tina can live in the west wing and meet in the middle for dinner. I am glad she is going…will the gang be going too? You know how they travel in bunches…
Sweet chapter ! I think it was a good idea for them not to move in together right away. This way they can move slow and make sure things are working out for Angelica’s sake.
I guess I understand why they wouldn’t want to rush into things, but I hope that you won’t keep them apart too long! Thanks for the great chapter…I am glad Tina will be following quickly. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Lauren, That was perfect! ANd how adorable was Angelica getting her dress on and her hair braided. Wonderful writing as Bette and TIna slowly move towards each other. Going gingerly is a wayt o make sure that this relationship works before fully committing their hearts and souls however I do feel that this pair belong together and time cannot keep them apart for long.
