“Okay.” Angelica replies and follows. “Can I wear my pink dress?” Angelica asks.
“Yes, you can.” Bette says. “You can start by taking off your clothes. You’re a big girl, you can do it on your own right?” Bette asks.
“Yep.” Angelica replies and goes right into concentration mode. Bette smiles.
She takes off her clothes too and put on a pair of white tracksuit pants and a white tank top with the inscription ‘I love Angel’. It was a gift from Kit and it was Bette’s favourite. Angelica looks up.
“Mama, I can’t…” Angelica says as she’s struggling with a button in her shirt.
“Here, let me help you.” Bette says and kneels down in front of Angelica.
“My name.” She says and points to Bette’s chest and tank top.
“Yes, it is.” Bette replies and smiles.
“Is it mine?” Angelica asks.
“No sweetie, it’s mine. I got it from your Aunt Kit.” Bette says.
“What says it?” Angelica asks.
“It says ‘I love Angel.’ Which means I love you.” Bette says and kisses Angelica on her cheek.
“I have one with you and mommy?” Angelica asks.
Bette smiles at her daughter. She’s so smart. She thinks.
“I’ll asks aunt Kit, if she has more of them, okay?” Bette asks.
“Okay.” Angelica replies. “Pink dress.” She says after getting her clothes off.
“Sure, here you go.” Bette says and reach over on the bed and grabs it. “You want help?” She asks.
“Yes.” Angelica replies.
“Okay.” Bette says and helps her into the beautiful little pink dress.
“Princess hair too.” Angelica replies and points to her head.
Bette sighs and smiles.
“Okay, come hear.” Bette says and stands up and lifts Angelica up into a chair.
“You have to sit still okay?” Bette says.
“Okay.” Angelica replies.
Bette braids Angelica’s hair and Angelica manages to sit still the almost 15 minutes it takes. Just when they are done, the doorbell goes off. “Mommy.” Angelica says, she looks up at Bette, silently asking for the permission to leave.
“Okay, we’re finished. Go and greet mommy.” Bette says and lifts her down. Angelica runs out and down the hallway and into the living room and then up to the door.
“Mommy.” She tries to reach the handle, but can’t. Tina slowly opens the door from outside.

Hey can we all get Tank tops with mama, mommy and Angel on? I’m not sure about the 2 apartments in London sounds like a big waste of money and time when they’re going to be sharing the same bed!!!!as we all know!!! and how long b4 Bette goes to London, I forgot???? Let them make it please…PPS
bette can get a duplex and with all the money bette is getting she might afford anything..as long as tina is coming there and they start dating to be a family again
Do they have duplexes in London? that is a great ideal. Let Tina do her thing for a while she will get tired of it and will move in thanks
Awww Angelica is such a dollbaby. That’s cool that Tina is going to London. I wonder how many nights apart she and Bette will spend before they end up in the same place all the time?
It is so nice that they are going to be at least in the same country and not thousands of miles away from each other. Two seperate apartments makes sense. Maybe now they can get their act together and become a couple again.
Fun story. Sleepovers are great as long as they lead to a sincere committment.
Smart plan, there are still unresolved issues that need to be discussed.

Bette will be making enough money to rent a freakin castle over there and can live in the east wing and Tina can live in the west wing and meet in the middle for dinner. I am glad she is going…will the gang be going too? You know how they travel in bunches…
Sweet chapter ! I think it was a good idea for them not to move in together right away. This way they can move slow and make sure things are working out for Angelica’s sake.
I guess I understand why they wouldn’t want to rush into things, but I hope that you won’t keep them apart too long! Thanks for the great chapter…I am glad Tina will be following quickly. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Lauren, That was perfect! ANd how adorable was Angelica getting her dress on and her hair braided. Wonderful writing as Bette and TIna slowly move towards each other. Going gingerly is a wayt o make sure that this relationship works before fully committing their hearts and souls however I do feel that this pair belong together and time cannot keep them apart for long.
