“Hey baby. Wow, don’t you look like a little princess.” Tina says and lifts her up and kisses her cheek.
“Mama, made princess hair.” Angelica says and points to her own head.
Bette walks out moments later.
“Hey.” Bette says.
”Hey, she sat still the whole time you did that?” Tina asks, couldn’t quite believe it.
“Yeah. She did. She really wanted it.” Bette says and smiles.
“She looks so cute.” Tina says and set Angelica down. Bette closes in and Tina leans in for a quick kiss. “Hey.” She repeats.
“Hi.” Bette says. “You want coffee? How was your day?” Bette asks.
“Thanks. It was good. Spent a few hours at work. Talked to Helena about you know what.” Tina says, following Bette into the kitchen.
“You did? What did she say?” Bette asks.
“She said that they actually have an office in London. I told her why I might move there and she offered a less challenging job, but for the same paycheck.” Tina says.
“She did?” Bette asks a little surprised.
“Yeah, if I want I can take on the role as one of the script readers. That way I can do it at home, in the evenings, to a hot cup of tea.” Tina says and smiles.
“That’s great.” Bette says as she turns towards Tina after putting on the coffee.
“It is. So I told her yes.” Tina says and smiles. It takes a few moments for it to register with Bette.
“Wait, does that mean? You’ll come to London with me?” Bette asks.
“Yeah.” Tina says and grins.
“Oh, you just made me the happiest woman alive.” Bette says and gives Tina a big hug.
“Well, I’m glad.” Tina replies and smiles. “It won’t happen until about a month after you move. A few things to sort out and take care of.” Tina says.
“Sure… it will be good for us, I know it will be.” Bette says after a few moments in silence.
Tina smiles and takes Bette’s hand and lifts it up and softly kisses it.
“I agree.” Tina says almost in a whisper.
“I’ll start looking into day care for her. And also apartments.” Bette says.
“Good… Bette?” Tina says.
“Yeah?” Bette replies.
“I know that we both want to reconcile quickly and move past our past, but don’t you think moving in with each other so quickly, is the wrong step to take?” Tina asks.
Bette’s face saddens a little.
“I hadn’t thought about that, I guess I just assumed that we would share an apartment.” Bette says.
“As I’ve said earlier, I don’t want to mess this up. And I certainly don’t want to mess it up in the beginning by moving in with each other too quickly. Let’s date, have sleepovers. Regular dates in the beginning.” Tina suggests.
Bette looks at Tina and sees that she’s right.
“I don’t want to mess this up either. If you’re not ready, we’ll wait. We’ll take it a slow as we have to… Can I at least get apartments that are close by?” Bette asks quietly after a few moments.
Tina smiles and leans in for another kiss.
“Yes. I don’t want to be too far away from you.” Tina says.
“Good.” Bette replies.

Hey can we all get Tank tops with mama, mommy and Angel on? I’m not sure about the 2 apartments in London sounds like a big waste of money and time when they’re going to be sharing the same bed!!!!as we all know!!! and how long b4 Bette goes to London, I forgot???? Let them make it please…PPS
bette can get a duplex and with all the money bette is getting she might afford anything..as long as tina is coming there and they start dating to be a family again
Do they have duplexes in London? that is a great ideal. Let Tina do her thing for a while she will get tired of it and will move in thanks
Awww Angelica is such a dollbaby. That’s cool that Tina is going to London. I wonder how many nights apart she and Bette will spend before they end up in the same place all the time?
It is so nice that they are going to be at least in the same country and not thousands of miles away from each other. Two seperate apartments makes sense. Maybe now they can get their act together and become a couple again.
Fun story. Sleepovers are great as long as they lead to a sincere committment.
Smart plan, there are still unresolved issues that need to be discussed.

Bette will be making enough money to rent a freakin castle over there and can live in the east wing and Tina can live in the west wing and meet in the middle for dinner. I am glad she is going…will the gang be going too? You know how they travel in bunches…
Sweet chapter ! I think it was a good idea for them not to move in together right away. This way they can move slow and make sure things are working out for Angelica’s sake.
I guess I understand why they wouldn’t want to rush into things, but I hope that you won’t keep them apart too long! Thanks for the great chapter…I am glad Tina will be following quickly. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Lauren, That was perfect! ANd how adorable was Angelica getting her dress on and her hair braided. Wonderful writing as Bette and TIna slowly move towards each other. Going gingerly is a wayt o make sure that this relationship works before fully committing their hearts and souls however I do feel that this pair belong together and time cannot keep them apart for long.
