    Seemingly Lost Chptr. 11

“That’s because it’s not Tina.” Justine said smiling at Bette as though she should already know this, “I’m going out with Amina. You know the cute girl that’s in your cultural arts class. The one with the cute ass and nice set of…”

“Alright, alright I got it, Amina.” Bette interrupted just as Justine was making it pretty clear with her hands. Bette sighed and continued as she threw her towel into the bathroom. “See that’s what I’m talking about. Doesn’t she know about you and Tina?”

“Everybody knows about me and Tina. What’s your point?” Justine was nearing her defensive tone.

“Have you heard about Tina going out with anyone?” Justine’s silence answered her question. “She’s not going out with anyone because she only wants you.”

“Hey I told Tina about all of this from the beginning. She knew all of this before we started. I told her I was going to see other people she…”

“No, you told her you wanted to see other people and she could either accept it or move on. By then she had already fallen in love with you, what was she supposed to do, let go?” Bette said in a sarcastic tone bordering on anger.

“What business is it of yours anyway? This is a relationship between Tina and I, nothing in that equation involves you.” Justine sat up on the edge of the bed with her arms crossed.

“Tina is my best friend. And you are the closest thing to a sister that I have right now. I don’t want to see any of you get hurt. And right now, whether you know it or not, you’re hurting Tina. But she’s to afraid to talk to you about it.” Bette said as she began to calm down.

Justine knew Bette was right. Here she was with one of the greatest women on campus and she was running around like a dog in heat while Tina sat back and accepted the second servings she was giving as a real relationship. Justine sat back on the bed and laid back with her arm draped over her eyes, Bette knew she struck something in Jus.

“You really think Tina is hurt by my wanting to see other people? I mean is she…” Justine couldn’t get the right words to form the sentence.

    1. Wow! Bette was wrong but damn. Maybe Tina just needs a little time to calm down and what is this business about the car? Hope you don’t keep us waiting long to find out where Tina went.

    2. Damn, not only did Tina walk out of Justine’s sorry ass life but also Bette’s, the only person to truely love her. Some how those two need to work something out and soon.

    3. I am glad that Tina left Justine for good. However, Bette is heartbroken and she got worse treatment than the woman that Tina choose. Despite Bette’s bad choices Tina choose Bette’s cousin over her because she wasn’t brave enough to go for what she wanted and it let Bette believe that was what she wanted. Maybe Tina better take a hard look at herself because she started this mess. I am anxious to read the next chapter.
