“You know you look good, Tina,” Shane said her admiring gaze sliding over Tina.
“I guess. I didn’t want to be too…sexy or too out there. We’re just going to the movies.”
“Yeah. About that…” Shane began ducking her head as Tina sent her a sharp look.
“What’s going on?” she demanded.
“Well Bette wanted to do something different. And I sort of helped her.”
“Helped her how?”
“Yeah how’d you help Porter, Shane? Besides wasn’t this not a date?” Alice asked as she wandered into the bedroom. “And before you ask Angie is sound asleep, Mother.”
Tina slumped back onto her bed and sighed.
“It’s an outing,” Tina muttered.
“So it’s not that often referred to date?” Alice asked as she jumped onto the bed.
“No. Not a date,” Tina gasped as Alice fell on top of her. “Get off, Alice!”
“Get real Tina! This is so a date,” Alice said rolling off of Tina and onto her back. “How many times have you and Bette been out together in the last three months?”
Tina sat up wincing slightly as she glared at Alice.
“Let’s get something straight, okay? No more jumping on me,” Tina said pointing at Alice.
“Why not? Angelica does it all the time!” Alice whined sticking her bottom lip out in an exaggerated pout.
“Angie weighs forty pounds, Alice! And you’re not a baby. And anyway Bette and I always go out with Angie.”
“True. But how many times have you two been out alone together?” Shane asked sitting on the edge of the bed.
“I don’t know. A few times. But they weren’t dates.”
Shane glanced at Alice.
“What?” Tina asked looking between the two.
“You’re dating,” Alice and Shane said in unison.
Tina shook her head.
“We’re hanging out. Like we’re doing right now. Hanging out. Talking. Being friends,” Tina said in a rush.
“Tina it’s okay,” Shane said patting Tina on the back. “You can call these “outings” what they really are. Dates. You have your family dates and then you have your twosome dates.”
“But…” Tina began only to have Alice cut her off.
“D-A-T-I-N-G! Sure you’re getting to be friends but that’s really not the point now is it? You don’t look at Bette and immediately think friend, do you? Because if so then there’s something wrong with you. Besides the sucking cock thing.”

Pure entertainment from start to finish. I too see great potential for a Bette and Helena friendship, though it’s a Tibette story so you’d have to resist the temptation to take that friendship out of platonic territory.

This was great. Love that Shane and Alice are prepping Tina in one home, and Helena is getting Bette ready. Come on where’s the date. What the heck is Snog? though I think I can figure it out.

This story is AWSOME! I can give you 17 reasons why they can forget about S5, and the the first 10 are–this story your story. I mean they haven’t touched on Tina’s relationship to Helena like you have and have her reaching out Bette now. And how I love how Shane is playing with Angelica while she and Alice are getting Tina ready. I could go on, but as long as we have “17 Reasons Why!” , who needs ’em!
