Shane and Molly arrive at the gallery early, as Shane needs to put the finishing touches on her display. Molly is eager to go with her to see the photographs, but Shane insists that she wait outside. She wants Molly to see it when everyone else does. Molly acquiesces and says that she will wait outside for everyone to arrive. Just as Molly is about to turn around and walk towards the benches on the curb, Shane grabs her hand and stops her.

“I love you,” she says, sweetly and sincerely. “If it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t be here. You’re my inspiration. You know that, right?”

A tear falls from Molly’s eye, as she is clearly deeply touched by Shane’s confession. She takes Shane’s face in her hands and kisses her. “I love you, too,” she whispers into Shane’s ear, as they embrace. She lefts her hands fall to Shane’s and holds them as she backs up, letting them fall from her grasp as she gets further away. She turns and heads over to the benches, as Shane watches her. When Molly sits down, she turns to see Shane still watching her. She waves and Shane waves back. Shane smiles, turns around and confidently swaggers into the gallery.

After a half hour or so has passed, their friends begin to show up at the gallery; first Bette and Tina, who have brought Shay, then Tasha and Alice, Helena and Cindy, Jenny and Niki, Phyllis and Joyce, Kit and Max. As they all arrive, they ask Molly about Shane’s work, to which Molly says that she has not yet seen it either, that Shane wanted her to be surprised.

As the gallery doors finally open, Molly takes Shay’s hand and they begin to make their way inside, their friends a step behind. As they are walking, Alice leans over to Jenny and in a faint whisper, asks, “Is she doing it tonight??” Jenny just shrugs her shoulders. “I bet she does,” Alice whispers.

“Bet she does what?” Tina asks, leaning in towards them.

“Proposes,” Alice says quietly, out of the side of her mouth, to make sure Molly does not hear.

“Oh!” Tina gasps.

“Will you two shut up?!” Bette barely says.

Alice draws her two fingers across her lips, indicating to Bette that her lips are sealed, to which Bette nods and smiles condescendingly.
