    Angie removes one of Tina’s rings from the pillow and hands it to Bette. Bette takes the ring in one hand and holds Tina’s hand with the other as she says her vows. “Tina, you were my yesterday, you are my today, you will be my tomorrow. All I am I give to you with

    Angie removes one of Tina’s rings from the pillow and hands it to Bette. Bette takes the ring in one hand and holds Tina’s hand with the other as she says her vows. “Tina, you were my yesterday, you are my today, you will be my tomorrow. All I am I give to you with this ring that symbolizes my endless love.” Bette places the ring on Tina’s finger.

    Angie now removes one of Bette’s ring from the pillow and hands it to Tina. Likewise Tina takes the ring in one hand and holds Bette’s hand with the other as she says her vows. “Bette, I give this ring in remembrance of this hour, a symbol of love that is complete, beautiful and endless.” Tina places the ring on Bette’s finger.

    At this point two young men from the hotel bring two chairs and place them in front of the canopy facing the audience. Bette and Tina sit in the chairs and Angie stands in front facing her parents. Bette and Tina each remove one of Angie’s rings from the pillow that Joey is holding and Kit takes Angie’s rings for Bette and Tina so Joey can return to his seat.

    They are now going to say some words to Angie and each will place a ring on her finger in a symbolic gesture of their love and commitment to their daughter and their family. Angie will in turn place a second interlocking ring on their fingers with a few words of her own. Bette takes Angie’s left hand and places the ring on her finger.

    “Sweetie you, me and Mommy have been a family ever since you were born but we didn’t always live together and we know that sometimes it made you sad. We hope never again to be the cause of your sadness. We love you so much. You are our pride and joy. I give you this ring to remind you that you are the world to us and we will never be apart from you or each other ever again.

    Tina then places the interlocking ring on the same finger. “My sweet baby girl. You know your Momma and I love you very much. Even though we were apart for a while we were always connected because of you. I thank you baby for helping me and Momma to find our way back home to one another. I give you this ring to remind you that you are our heart and we will never be careless with it again.”

      • evy, thank you for encouraging me to re-post it. I actually enjoyed reading it again myself. I had forgotten a lot of the wonderful moments shared by Bette, Tina and Angie on their journey to three hearts one home. It’s coming to an end. One more chapter and then the finale.

      For me it is like reading it for the first time.
      Their commitment ceremony was absolutely amazing, how they included Angie and all the people Who are dear to them. It brought tears in my eyes.
