“I feel good – had a few sleepless nights “
“I am nervous about meeting Tina “
“Tina is wonderful Kit – she isn’t at all scary.”
“How long has it been now for the two of you ?”
“Ti and I have been living together for 18 months “
Kit shook her head “My sister has settled down “
“I have and I couldn’t be happier about it “
“She must think I am terrible for not meeting her sooner “
“Kit – Tina has the kindest heart – she will not judge you – don’t worry”
“I realise how much she means to you “
“Tina means the whole world to me – there is nothing I would not do for her”
Kit nodded “Its good to see”
“And what about you – sober ?”
“Yes – its only been 10 weeks “
“Only ten weeks -that’s great Kit – well done. Why didn’t you call me ?”
Bette knew that Kit always stayed out of her sister’s way when she was drinking. It didn’t bother Bette – she had put her sister to bed many times but Kit was ashamed of her problem and her self confidence was not very strong.
“I was going to wait until I had been dry for three months “
“Kit – I wish you would let us be in contact more – I miss you “
“Well maybe this time eh “
“I hope so – I really want you to be happy “
“As happy as you ?” Kit teased “ You really do look the picture of contentment “
“Ti is the best thing that has ever happened to me “
“That’s just great “
“Shall we order coffee ?”
Bette waited until they both had coffee before dropping her bombshell
“Last Friday we were working in the front garden when this woman appeared. She announced that she is my mother “
Kit dropped her spoon
“Oh my Lord “
“Yeah “
“And is it ?”
“She checks out as far as we can tell”
“How do you mean ?”
“How do you check out that someone is who they say they are ? I have some old photographs and I have to say that if she is not Elizabeth Porter then she’s her evil twin sister”

At first I waited patiently for your next post, but over the last weeks I started getting restless that something had happened for you not to post anymore. You can’t believe how I have missed your posts.
Kit is back in the picture. Elizabeth seems to unsettle Bette…….. I am beginning to have my concerns. I hope Big Bette doesn’t hurt little Bette, or Tina will be ripping Big Bette a new ASS. Great update. I have missed you and your stories. Please don’t go away for so long.

Finally! It was time for Tee to meet Kit. Can’t believe it took you 88 chapters LOL. This woman keeps showing up with new info.. I can understand why Bette feels dizzy and ready to run away from her. Thanks for the updates, and again.. don’t take to much to post :D. (Hey mate, where are the L wings you promised?)

“Hell’s teeth”? Don’t think I ever heard that one before. So Elizabeth is going too fast (how dare she invite Bette and Tina over to meet the rest of the family!), yet new revelations from her are greated with the suspicion that she’s hiding things. I got to say Bette is striking me as a touch paranoid in this (Tina too, after getting all huffy about not being met for the shopping excursion). There’s nothing wrong with Bette talking to Kit, but she really needs to go to the source for her information, namely Elizabeth. And then Melving, that old dick.
Thanks so much for the update. This is one of my all time favorite fanfic stories. I just love the way you have written Tina with her strength of character and warm heart.

It SOOOOOOOOOOO NICE to see that you are back. I can’t and can believe you ended the chapter like that (Drama Queen). I can’t believe B&T have not thought about a D&A test. It would be soooooo easy to get a sample of Elizabeth, being a coffee snob just get it from her cup. It’s GREAT to see Kit in this story. PPS:o).
Hey Ally, Back agian to share the wonder or your writing. Thanks you for returning with your inimitable style and flair for fiction. Bette has been through so much in this drama as her mother returns. This has forced Bette to face so many of her fears; betrayal, abandonment, self-worth. It was good to find out that Tina was so mad yet as soon as she saw her lover, Tina’s tenderness took hold and she comforted her partner. Now meeting Kit is a major step forward in unifying this relationship. Still am impatient to read more so please post soon. Complete gratitude from Your Loyal Fan.
