    At the very least Tina was hoping to present a case to the Appeals Court to reduce the sentence to time served.  This wouldn’t make the conviction go away but at least if Shane and Maggie could start to rebuild their lives together they could begin to put this episode behind them.  It would allow Shane to get out of the suspended animation her life seemed to be in right now.  All of Tina’s nurturing instincts where telling her this would be the best for Shane.  Tina had presented her thoughts to Ralph in the hopes he would give her some guidance.  At the moment he advised her to put it on the back burner until after she passes the bar.

     

    Tina arrived at the county prosecutor’s office with 15 minutes to spare.  She was just waiting in the outer office when her cell went off.

     

    “Hello”

     

    “Hey Tina this is Shane.”

     

    “Shane what are you up to later?”

     

    “I’m free do you want to meet at the usual spot?”

     

    “Yeah and I hope I have good news.  See you later I have to go now.” Tina says as the same Assistant Prosecutor who had presided over the initial arraignment opened his office door and motioned for Tina to come in.

     

    “OK see ya later.”

     

    The office was a small square office with no windows.  The Assistant DA’s desk was placed in the center of the room with book shelves behind it and two chairs in front of it.  The desk was covered with neat piles of files all at least five inches tall.  Tina could tell that he had a system going on his desk and she wondered what it was.

     

    “Thank you for taking the time to come down here Miss Kennard.”  He started off with.

     

    “Well if we are able to move some things along then it will be my pleasure.” Tina replies taking a seat in one of the chairs in front of his desk.

     

    “Well I have to admit that I haven’t had a lot of time to review this case.  We have been pretty busy around here with a couple of high profile murder cases which are rapidly ramping up.”

    6. Hello Jwet thanks for another update! :-) I wonder what will happen to Shane and Tina once T’s parents heard about who is Shane! And am I missing something such as Mayan Tina in this update?! :-p is she the daughter of the farmer or she hasn’t appear yet?! Will the project turn into a good thing or would there’ll be more challenge before the success or….??? Lol… Pardon my impatient behavior :-D I just simply curious on what will happen next :-) .. He3.. Btw Enjoy the weekend Jwet! Thanks again for the update and I hope I won’t bored you on telling you that I am pining for next update :-)

    7. I have a feeling Shane will be wearing something black…of course! LoL But as for the Mayan planting of the Bajos – I vaguely remember seeing something of the sort on one of those National Geographic or History Channel stations…hmmmm…can’t say my memory is very accurate -but I won’t give anything away! Great Read – keep it coming! Can’t wait!
