    I caught myself thinking…

    Alice started singing, joking with the audiance, winking and having fun:

    So no one told you life was gonna be this way
    Your jobs a joke, you’re broke, your love life’s D.O.A.


    It’s like you’re always stuck in second gear
    And it hasn’t been your day, your week, your month, or even your year
    but..


     

    I saw the Shane and Dana hop on the stage and I saw that Alice was as surprised as I was when they grabed a microphone and started to sing to me too:


    I’ll be there for you
    When the rain starts to pour

    I’ll be there for you
    Like I’ve been there before

    I’ll be there for you
    ‘Cuz you’re there for me too…


    The surprise on Alices face was hilarious when Shane sort of talking/singing continued:


    You’re still in bed at ten
    And work began at eight
    You’ve burned your breakfast
    So far…
    things are goin’ great


    Now it was Danas turn, she was clearly very nervous, you could hear it in her voice but she still had fun on stage:


    Your mother warned you there’d be days like these.
    Oh but she didn’t tell you when the world has brought
    You down to your knees
    that…


    And then they all continued: 


    I’ll be there for you
    When the rain starts to pour

    Like I’ve been there before

    ‘Cuz you’re there for me too…


    It was so great to see them all have fun on that stage, pushing eachother, teasing eachother:

    What it’s like to be me

    Someone to face the day with
    Make it through all the rest with
    Someone I’ll always laugh with
    Even at my worst I’m best with you,
    yeah


    Their voices sounded kind of cool together, Alices funny voice, Danas nervous one and Shane with her down-to-earth-kind-of-husky-sound were again raised in harmony:

I’m dutch myself… What I wanted to say: I’ll be back next week with fresh material LOL I’ll probably post on monday ( april 3rd)then… It was kind of goofy the way I wrote it in my authors comments but I am afraid to change it because I had to edit this story for like 5 times before the song would come out the way I wanted!
