    The Gathering 01.65 – The Gathering ReDux – Pt. 13

     

     

                “How could she do this to me?”  Dana said for the 100th time that night and the 1000th time since she’d gotten the letter.  She’d rushed over to Alice the moment she’d opened it two days before.  Not to Lara, but to her best friend Alice and Alice took solace in that small glimmer of a fact.

     

                “Your lawyer is looking at it.  You knew her for like, a minute.  Stop getting so freaked.  I knew she was a nut case the minute I met her.  I think she killed Mr. Piddles.  I’m sure of it she was just to, happy.”  Alice stated, making a face of disgust.  Lara was working tonight, and that left Dana all to her.  She loved it. 

               

                “No, you think so?”  Dana rubbed her hands together, tears in her eyes as she thought of her dead feline friend.

     

                “I think so.  Tonya was a freak show just waiting to happen.”  Alice hugged her and Dana made a sappy face, forgetting about Tonya for just one second.

     

                “What are you two talking about?”  Jenny asked her and Marina hand in hand.  Jenny ordered a drink for her and for Marina.

     

                “Dana is being sued.”  Alice stated shortly, they hadn’t told anyone about it yet. 

     

                “What?  Dana what happened?”  Marina asked, putting a hand on Dana‘s bare shoulder.  Dana sighed, she was tired of all the bad things happening to her.

     

                “Tonya is suing her for breach of promise.  Their engagement.  She seems to think that Dana now owes her something, I personally think she owes her a good forehand across the back of the head.”  Alice slung back the rest of her drink, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand.  Suddenly feeling very butch by that last act, she was knocking them back like a man.

     

                “It would be a back hand, I hit much harder with a back hand.”  Dana corrected her, and Alice rolled her eyes, Dana having missed the whole point.

     

                “That is awful, how can people do things like that to one another.”  Jenny sighed, thanking god that Francesca couldn’t do anything like that to Marina.

    1. GOOD GOD THAT WAS HOT!!!! The people alone involved in this is enough to pop many blod vessels in my head but when you add the visuals that I just got in my mind WOW. I think I strained something. Going to read that again!!!!!!!!!!
