“Couples, Sam and Tina broke up.  Then Bette and Tina are back together.  Everything is up in arms all over the place; I’m not sure who is dancing with whom.”  Marina was taken back; as was Jenny.

            “You are dancing with me.”  Jayden said, taking Alice‘s hand and pulling her out onto the dance floor, they began a steamy dance that would take them long into the wee hours of the night.

            Shane was sitting next to a beautiful raven haired woman flirting with soft touches and her sultry deep voice; and Tina sat down next to her, slapping Shane‘s thigh. 

            “Hi puddin’.”  Tina grabbed Shane and pulled her away from the other woman, excusing them with a quick excuse.

            “What are you doing?  I was just about to get her to agree to be bathroom buddies.”  Shane said with some regret in her voice, looking back at the woman, hoping she waited for Shane to ditch Tina.

            “I have a favor to ask of you?”  Tina said, and Shane thought that these women were asking a lot of favors of her these last few weeks.

            “What would that be, scotch, neat.”  Shane ordered a drink; not able to look at Tina in the eyes.  She wondered why, and then realized it was because she’d fucked Bette and Tina knew nothing about it.  A secret, she sighed.

            “Can you look after Sam tonight?  She’d down in the dumps about Jayden reminding her every six seconds that C.J. is dead and about her dad having a heart attack.  Me and her not being a thing anymore.”  Shane turned and looked at Sam.  God she looked so hot in that dayum outfit; her hair was shorter and who ever had cut it had done the most awesome job.  A lot shorter than before, and tangled and scruffy in a wonderfully erotic way.  It made Sam look as wild as Shane knew she was in her heart.

            “Sure, I can do that.”  Shane took her drink and made her way over to the doctor, striking up a conversation, but glancing a bit longingly at Bette every so often.
